When I was younger I tried it a few times. It usually goes one of three ways. My best friend of 20 years always had the same advice: NEVER date a woman with kids. He deals with abandoned children as part of his work and was forever trying to impress upon me the emotional baggage that comes with these people.

Needless to say, he stupidly told her that I was the one who found out about the scam company she works for and now she'd forbidden him from ever contacting me.
