This is my theory: when I was around 7-10 years old I remember this scene that was spooky because of my perception as a child. It was probably a movie, but over the years I had similar nightmares which occurred once a couple months. Around two years ago I started searching for the movie, but never found anything. Now I don't know if it was a movie or a dream all along. Here is the description of what I remember: there was this island in the middle of nothing. The only way you could access the island is with a plane/boat. There were people that visited the island, but due to a storm nobody could leave the island. There was some kind of orphanage/child hospital on the island. Then this being came (he wasn't human, but had human facial features) out of a light tower. He carried some kind of snake cane and was dressed in a long black robe, I think that he could also summon a giant snake using that cane. He had telepathic abilities and burned a child using his mind and also choked another. This is about all I remember. If it is a movie it should be around 15-20 years old due to me remembering it from 12 years back and our TV broadcast being outdated as fuck. I tried searching for it multiple times, but haven't found anything so I started thinking that it was all a dream. If it's a movie I would love watxhing it for the luls because it's probably not spooky at all and I had nightmares because I was too young and wasn't ready for that shit. If anyone has any answers I would be grateful. Pic related

The problem is that as a child I vividly remembered watching it with my parents and it would be strange that the broadcaster in our country would even show something like that and they only roll really old movies no new releases. Over the years the memories got blurry and my parents said that they don't remember any similar movie. I had nightmares for a long period of time. When I was a kid I was a regular sleepwalker, once I opened my bedroom window in our 8 story complex we used to live in and I just sat on the ledge. I knocked down some pencils and my father found me. Then I got some bars installed on all windows. All of this was from the period where I remember watching the movie. Good thing that we aren't on /x/ or demon fags would be in this thread already

I honestly have a similar experience except but I know it was a movie because I remember watching with my parents. My memory from then is very distorted so it probably is nothing like I'm explaining but all I can remember is a girl getting locked up in a room by two men and the room is completely filled with things that look like (pic.) and then she was banging on the door(with a small square window) screaming but the men didn't seem to care

Been trying to find a horror film I saw back in the late 80s. Saw only the last half hour of it. Amish guy is driving for the first time. A classic 64/65 mustang and slams into a tree. At the end of the film after a few men leave the woman all alone now turns around and sees a ghost appear in the kitchen.

Yeah it's definitely Storm of the century. I'm watching it atm and I found the scenes despite it being slightly different from my memories. 10-15 years can fuck them up drastically. Anyways thanks to all the anons that participated and helped me find it. This shit really fucked me up as a kid, going to give it another watch
