Being a millionaire is truly an experience. Sometimes I feel empty inside and still can't believe I made it to this status. Thing is, I don't look it. You could see me on the street and have no idea I'm rich. I'd underdress to special events/restaurants and get weird looks from people (mostly white). Being a millionaire has been a surreal experience so far. If I could offer any advice, it would be to apply yourself. Look into ways of exploiting the system. There are tons of people out there willing to give money towards a lot of things. Find out one of those things and exploit it. Maybe do some investments or do stock trading. Put aside 1000 bucks and buy shares. Try and turn that 1000 into 4000 or more. Learn the ropes and play the "game". It's literally a game but with a risk of losing money if played wrong.

There are lots of things to do that can help you reach millionaire status or at least leave you better off and not stressing over money. I haven't fully assimilated into this lifestyle and I don't really want to change who I am because of it. My family doesn't know I'm rich because I never showed it but I guess they think I'm doing well. I give some money whenever they NEED it and tell them it's ok. I don't know of I'll ever tell them of my true success because I don't want them to treat me any differently.

Anyway, I hope this has motivated some of you to try something out. All it takes is the right opportunity and strive. Not everyone can become a millionaire but you all have the chance to.

Nope. I used to work as an investment consultant and this is pure horse-shit. The only 400% returns I ever saw was someone who bought up land then sold it back to the Government and he was already a millionaire and on average he held onto the land for about 3 years before selling it.

The most money to be made playing the stock market is to be a middle-man for other people. Investment companies are the biggest and most successful scam-artists around.

It's easy to be happy when you started out owning investments and businesses. It's easy to graduate from college with a degree that matters if you don't have to work full time while you're going. It's like shooting fish in a barrel getting women when you have money. It's easy to stay fit when you choose your own hours and can afford a lot of food that's delicious and healthy, but expensive (like lean steaks or salmon).

There's nothing more disgusting than a family-money type talking down to the working class about picking themselves up from their bootstraps when they've never had any stress and had everything given to them.

If he IS being genuine he started out with a lot and made it into more, which is actually a very easy thing to do. But going from the paycheck to paycheck life to a successful investor is a helluva hard thing to do. And honestly, you might get like 33% back per year if you're *great* at it, if you're not, you're just as likely to be losing money. And since a paycheck to paycheck working class guy can't throw maybe more than a few hundred at investing a year, it will *never* grow to be any respectable sum. And even the few hundred that could be thrown at investing would likely be better spent by drinking and having fun because when you're destitute, you need the comfort of partying/relaxing.

If he had some solid investment pointers more descriptive than "turn 1000 into 4000" this might be believable, but you'll notice he has nothing more descriptive than generic fortune cookie wisdom.

Also, those people that grew up middle class and even had parents start them out with something like 20k to invest, make a down payment on a home. or apply towards their college have a way better chance of success.

But it's very very hard for a "paycheck to paycheck" to ever climb out of that hole. They can survive by a huge amount of daily effort, but almost never thrive, even if they have read a whole host of generic self-help nonsense.
