Okay so for some context first, I'll do my best with a live picture but we have a massive floor with hundreds if not thousands of tons of trash we take in all week. Overnight and sometimes during the day we shred and turn it into electricity as I said above. It gets pushed into an opening and goes up 150-200 feet of conveyor then drops 25 or so feet into the shredder. Bad things like propane tanks explode and large steel things fuck everything up, but sometimes worse can happen, I'll greentext the next post

Okay did my best to take a picture of the opening, camera on me and not supposed to use phones.

Crazy is he was bending 1 inch lower to rest his back it would've hit his head and he'd be gone, or if it wrapped around his arm instead of just hitting he'd be sucked in

Makes me paranoid about my job. Work in a slaughter house hanging up chicken on a metal chain line that must be at least 5 miles long that loops around the warehouse. All it takes is for one chain rotation machine the fuck up the chain and if it snaps, depending on where it is, can kill lots of people. Never seen a bad accident happen before.
