The entire reason people are watching it isn't for a slugfest. It's that Mayweather is undefeated, and has never suffered a "real" knockdown in his career. If the other guy gets in close, Mayweather's style is ENTIRELY dependent on hugs and ref separations. He hugs until the ref separates him and gives him the space he needs to keep running away.

Now here's the thing, Connor is a pro at fucking people up in a clinch, even without using any wrestling, he's good at freeing up an arm and striking at every available opening, no matter how small.

I'd sway Connor has a very good chance at winning this IF the ref lets them fight in the clinch for a bit. If the ref is overzealous about separating clinches (and the Mayweather fight refs always are), this will go to Mayweather on points as it always does.

Mayweather is real shit to watch because he's *not* an aggressive boxer, he's just mastered staying away, hugging for separations, and making powerless jabs and show flurries from the outside.
