Looking back my problem was I hit college and went nuts once I got that freedom. I didn't want to do anything except graduate and move on.

If I went back I would focus on promoting myself in athletics more so I could hopefully pull down a college scholarship or join the military out of school. I made dumb decisions. Nothing awful just picked a dumb major and didn't get good grades and I was fine with it. Everything turned out pretty good I have an office job in natural gas but any time there is a possibility of getting laid off so I have an underlying anxiety.
