You are just changing stuff to make it more probable. It was written around 70 years after the birth of Jesus. Would that person really care? If he would, then why not say "There was a King, " or something like that. How was "census" mistranslated, it's not just one word. There's a chapter about that, and it's made just to fulfill the prophecy, it's doesn't make sense that Joseph had to go anywhere in the first place.

Well he is kinda lame for not just dropping by and delivering a real book of facts and instead counting on idiots like myself to tell you.
