Prostitution is a career that will abandon the practitioner in their early thirties. This deprives the individual of a livelihood at a time in life where it is too late to learn a new trade, but far too early to retire.

Prostitution is a complex subject. Laws are in place to keep exploitation from occurring as often, as many prostitutes and escorts are under the protection of a pimp. However, this causes an issues for independent sex workers like myself (as well as our clients) despite all parties consenting uncoerced to sexual activities in exchange for money.

I think if prostitution was regulated, it could be legalized without too much of an issue. The regulation would remove the need for pimps and allow sex workers to make a living independently and legally.
