this is why Obama had to rule by executive order, its just on the other foot now.
no wonder the USA is failing
>>740441917
Trump tried to rule by executive order, there's only so much you can accomplish that way. Changing the rules of the senate is another game entirely.
But you're right in that, like McCain said, either party will shove whatever they can down the other party's throat, so long as they can get away with it.
Who woke the NEETs up?
>>740441713
Trump might now appreciate why so many over Obama's ideas never got implimented before he goes on another tweetantrum about him doing nothing in his 8 years.

You'd be wrong. Destroying any power held by the opposition party so you can force through an agenda is the job of a dictator.

they don't even control the senate or house, he's getting blocked by his own party faggot. and the CBO's reports should be more than enough proof that blocking the shitty healthcare even republicans didn't like was much more than "muh political reasons"

yeah but we weren't really talking about the obama presidency

Democrats are okay with politcians being paid off and money in congress as long as it suits their agenda.
They'll even laugh at republicans for trying to get things done without lobbying and shake behavior.

Because everyone in congress was being paid off.
Obama even once complained congress treated him like a dog.
Then a few months later there was media silence and nothing was getting done.
In fact all of Obama's 8 years all he did was pass ACA.
>>740443949
>In fact all of Obama's 8 years all he did was pass ACA.
what did he mean by this?
I don't know how politics made the country so divided. People are literally taking this more seriously than you'd expect.
Part of the problem is he tries to bully his own party, and he is always sending mixed messages sarah says one thing, then he tweets the opposite.

He pulled us out of the recession. He just had a lower profile, that is why it seemed like he did .

his attacks on sessions show it's not safe to be his friend
whether you oppose him or work to elect him and enact his agenda, he will attack you the second he feels threatened or needs a sacrificial lamb.
his healthcare just got executed by Emperor Maximillus McCain, the same (R) he said was a "loser" for being a POW.

The difference between Obama and Trump is one studied congressional law for years and the other runs corporations. Trump doesn't realize is that what Obama did with executive order was legal and what he tries to do is not. He's starting to get the hang of it... sort of.
>>740444204
still he's lying through his teeth to pretend ACA was all Obama did. what about all the other shit they gnashed their teeth over? Cuba, DADT, marriage, DREAMers, SC, Iran et al?

How exactly? All I can think of is the fact he hasn't fired Sessions and McCabe yet. Which I guess is progress from Comey-era Trump.

>Liberals: Trump is a dictator. Literally Hitler.
What liberals are actually saying is that Trump's rise to power was eerily reminscent of Hitler's rise to power; A populist demagoge scapegoating his way into political providence and seizing power despite the majority of the country not supporting him.
In terms of governance there are other similarities. Hitler was not one for getting down witht he actual day to day governance of the country. He enjoyed sleeping in and watching cartoons. Most of the Nazi policy came through Borman, not Hitler. But there the similarities end, Hitler was the autocratic head of a well oiled and well organised german bureacracy whereas Trump is an elected figurehead unable to push his agenda through his own party. Trump would like to be an autocrat; By all reports I've read the man is a micromanager by nature and I imagine that it must be frustrating for him to not be able to wield the same amount of executive power as a CEO does, especially a CEO with a boardroom stacked with family members and sycophants.
Trump may have done very little in 6 months but the GOP has been very busy though.
Very busy indeed

It's a byproduct of having a 2 party state; It leads to polarization. Rather than having people identifying with various degrees of political affiliations, we instead have a RED v BLUE, US v THEM situation.

IN 1930 Hitler had 18.25% of the votes, by november 1932 he had 33.09% and after seizing power in 1933 he had a staggering 43.91% of the votes.
Hardly a majority but then again maybe you think Trump's 24% also constitute a majority?

His business does great doesn't it? A tremendous job, the best. Just the best, they are, they are building these big, beautiful, these big things, it's gonna be great, believe me. Just great. Great like his win. The biggest win ever. Couldn't do it they said, these liars, these liars there. They just keep saying he's lying, but he's did great in Wisconsin. Big win. Probably the biggest since lincoln. Lincoln was a great guy, ot many people know this but he freed the slaves. Tremendous guy. Probably one of the greatest presidents. After Jackson. Had Jackson been in charge Lincoln would never have won. Believe me. Great Guy. The best. Very loyal, and that's important. He was the most loyal, not like these, not like these. Sessions, McCain, traitors to the american people. Not very nice the things, the things they say about Trump. They are all liars.
Sorry what was the question?
