>>739880739
I unironically loved Joy. Perhaps the best christmas movie since It's a Wonderful Life. Tokyo Godfathers is pretty great too, though, but I haven't seen it in a while.
>>739883810
Die Hard is the best Christmas movie ever made
Last year true masterpiece.
>>739884044

>>739871217
>>739875387
Holy shit, there's not a single other person I know who has seen this film. I loved Gandahar, and watch it every now and again. have you seen any other Laloux films?

>>739874784
For me it's got to be the mcchicken
>>739885179
Its fucking sad that part III is garbage because the cheap bastards prefered to fuck the whole thing up instead of paying Robert Duvall what he deserved.
>>739877691
Good choice. The first person with taste if this faggoty thread
>>739885748
Not even Cronenberg's best.
What the fuck is wrong with you guys? Someone asks you a legitimate question and you all give legitimate answers? (with the exception of like 3 of you)
I am disappoint, /b/

you lost it
>>739887853
cat got cheeseburger, The Game is no longer relevant
>>739887967
i liked the movie at first but then it got kind of obnoxious and sentimental
>>739888047
I'm convinced that the internet love for this movie must be a prank. It's just awful at every level.
Best thing Ghibli ever made.
>>739889039
dude, you have nice taste. i love ozu films
>>739877422
Pretentious trash that set itself up to be immersive and organic in the first 45 minutes then threw it all away in an attempt to be deep and culturally relevant.
>>739887853
One of Fincher's least talked about, and I don't know why
>>739884590
I got the opposite
+ 95% of his work in general
>>739889615
I'm generally not too interested in the whole ephemeral beauty of the everyday life of middle class people thing, but Ozu was something else. Truly amazing artist.
>>739885028
Sequel is even better.

>the most frighting thing about jacob singers nightmare is that he isn't dreaming
Looks like even the tag writer couldn't follow this movie....
>>739893140
But he kinda was dreaming, wasn't he?
>>739888180
Suave.
>>739891314
Alien 3 could have been better. The CG is terrible.

>>739893292
Fuck. Yes.
>>739893292
Of all the shitty films that have been posted in this thread, this one is the worst offender.
>>739893371
The most frightening thing about jacobs nightmare is that he is about to die as soon as he wakes up.
>>739880097
boring shit the book is 10 trillion times better
>>739871606
Truly a man of taste.
>>739871606
^this
>>739893469
agreed. It could have been soo good. It started good, it ended good. But man that big boring slow ass middle part. Pretty much every scene without Rorschach sucked dicked.
Edit out an hour of the 3 hour long movie
only show scenes from Rorschach's perspective, in scenes that he's not in, show him spying on them.
DONE movie 100% better. it would be that easy.
>>739875387
this movie fuckin rocks
>>739893341
sad part is it's not even CG
it was a digitally imposed model. It looked shit.
>>739893897
hehehehehehe

Great choice

How has Disco Duck not made this list?
BTW TV is now better then the movies.
>>739895327
You have to post it, dumbass
>>739885160
This anon hit the nail on the head.
>>739885535
What Part 3?
Not one single mention of Casablanca in this thread. You people should be ashamed.
I dont give a fuck what you think. This my shit
>>739895508
Yeah, it's a shame they never made a third Godfather. Or a sequel to the Matrix. Or a fourth Indiana Jones. Or prequels to Star Wars.
>>739895614
1>2>>>>>>>>>>>>>>3
Anyone seen Dunkirk yet? Just came out here two days ago and looks good
>>739895768
I agree
>>739871217
I don't get what is so great about this film. I have just recently watched it and it was a solid 7/10.
>>739895561
Nevermind that trash. What's concerning is that no one mentioned the original Robocop
>>739888378
I'm not so cynical. I thing that in some strange way some people think this is a good movie. To me everything about it is awful but somehow others see it differently. I don't know, I just refuse to believe it's a prank.
>>739895860
Its a 7/10 cause youre a 7/10 in your brain
>>739875417
Here's a (You) for you; you've earned it.
>>739895614
Not my favorite, but hell, this movie broke so much ground.
This movie is pretty awesome, a guy wakes up early from sleep hibernation while traveling in a space colony
>>739891990
I like this. Does that mean I will like this >>739891773 ?
>>739895773
Very, very good. I just saw it this afternoon. Nolan doesn't disappoint, yet again.
>>739895996
If you watch it as an adult, youll see things you didnt as a child
>>739896066
It's Stockholm Syndrome the movie.
>>739885819
overrated garbage
>shit writing
>shit acting
>shit dialogue
>shit action scenes
>shit editing
>shit cinematography
>>739896109
You mean the little "adult" jokes Pixar puts in their for the adults?
Or do you mean mistakes or something?
>>739887852
>film made by incredibly well-known directors
>nobody seems to know about it
The fuck, mang? Great film. John Goodman sweating balls and talking about how hot it is, then going into his apartment.
>>739871606
I listened to Jack Black Dance like a butterfly like 40 times in a row, I think this site is making me retarded.
>>739895996
not any good ground, though
i miss real animation. now they pump these movies out for like 10 dollars. dreamworks animation exists now probably because of this movie.
>>739895942
I certainly am not. It's cheesy at times and has clearly not aged very well.
>>739892313
Have you seen the green room
>>739895714
Please anon, none of those things exist. Seek help.
>>739896180
Adult jokes. First time i watched as an adult blew my mind. I dont think this movie has any mistakes
>>739896378
I could say the same about you
>>739871217
Collateral (2004, directed by Michael Mann)
>>739896078
Yeah, pretty much.
>>739896402
Probably one of those Mandela Effect things.
>>739874075
underrated
inb4 "this was pretentious garbage"
Best movie 10/10
>>739896749
That was pretentious garbage.
Good, though.
>>739896275
I have no clue how that performance isn't universally beloved.
>>739894291
Classic.
Also, this.
>>739896749
ur kidding right? Must be nice being 14. I miss those days.
>>739896749
Too garbage to be pretentious
>>739896749
Most certainly not a 10/10, but it's allright. Gotta love that ass, though.
>>739896275
Still need to watch this. I am relatively new to David Lynch's work. Just finished the original Twin Peaks series, and moving on to Fire Walk with Me.
>>739896457
Whatever you say, kid.
>>739875883
YES
>>739894927
TA IV was good.
>Tito! What do you think you're doing, young man?
>>739896808
>>739897095
Eraserhead might not be the best place to start if you only know Lynch for Twin Peaks. Shit is good but weird as fuck. Try with Blue Velvet, Lost Highway or Mulholland Drive first. The Straight Story and Elephant Man are amazing in their own right too. Save Inland Empire for last.
>>739897126
Go to bed son
We're literally playing a 10/10 movie right now!
ADDY IN IMAGE!!
Now Playing: Weird Al Yankovic in "UHF"
Probably the funniest parody movie since "Airplane", every bit as awesome and hilarious as his songs.
Movies with Chat 24/7 MOSTLY HORROR with some Sci-fi/Gore/Cult/80s/Weird Films
This movie channel doesn't play everything under the sun. You won't have to sit through pablum like Avengers 2 or Batman movies. There are no cartoons, no musicals, no music videos, no TV shows... just movies. Specifically, It's mostly horror movies. Tons of stuff you have never heard of or seen. There are some sci-fi movies, 80s movies, cult movies, and just bizarre off the wall crazy shit like you have never seen, all mixed in to the horror movies. Over 700 movies that play randomly. None of that polling/voteskip shit, that shit doesn't work - because democracy doesn't work. No safe spaces here either. You can make rape jokes and insult minorities until you run out of edgy things to say if you want. The admins only police things that actually matter. Filmclub isn't here to have broad appeal or as many viewers as possible. It's here as an alternative to all the tired repetitive BS you get from the average vanilla stream. 24/7/365 movies most other streams won't play. Even classic XXX. Check it out.
ADDY IN IMAGE!!!

I still need to watch Twin Peaks. Been hearing great things about it.

I will definately loom into them. I have to give it up Frost and Lynch, as I never thought I could remotely enjoy a show that contains elements of mellow dramatics and soap operas.

>>739897766
I thought the whole beginning sequence of that movie was a documentary on African life.
>>739896081
Thanks. Will see it tomorrow
>>739897622
The first two seasons are on netflix. I cannot say it is for everyone, but something about it just kept me invested. There is also the film Fire Walk with me to watch after finishing the first two seasons and a book called "The Secret History of Twin Peaks" that fills in some discrepencies.

I fear Shyamalan is going to fuck it up. He lost his craft. Back then, even if his ideas were sometimes silly, his movies were very well directed, but that hasn't been the case in a while.
>>739896391
nah, it any good?
>>739898893
Nahh, Split was pretty solid and had one of the best endings I've seen in years. He'll do just fine.
