You can tell Eric shot himself first since Dylan's brains and blood are on Erics pants. That means Dylan's must have shot himself in the head after Eric had already killed himself.

It's also been said that there was a piece of Erics brain tissue on the table next to where they killed themselves and that it had been fused to the table by a lot of heat. Dylan was rolled over a little because the first thing the SWAT team did after they cleared the room, was to check both the bodies for bombs. That's normal for any SWAT team in that situation.

Dylan on the other hand didn't display any of the psychological issues that Eric did. The reasoning behind going through with this action is still debated because even his mom doesn't even know. Personally, I think it's because Dylan and Eric were best friends and Dylan sympathized with Eric and justified the action.

Dylan had issues too. I'd say Dylan had a lot of issues, after reading his journals. It was a complete failure on part of both their parents for not noticing, especially near the end when their mental states started to degrade faster than they could cover it up. Dylan's mom even admitted she had a feeling, but never bothered to check. She once lashed out at Dylan for his sudden attitude change, but didn't go further to look into it.

Eric and Dylan were also not so much friends near the end, especially after the van incident. Dylan really pulled away from Eric and made friends with kids who Eric really hated.

Eric wasn't the sole orchestrator, that's a myth. Dylan wore a shirt that said Wrath on it, he planned out his fair share, he planned and memorized the body signals they used during the massacre, on the 911 tapes you can hear him laughing and cheering. He wanted the massacre just as much and even at the end, after he made peace with his nearing end, he had to encourage Eric to go through with it. Eric was afraid at the end, he kept breaking down about it and needed Dylan to get him through to the end.

They both needed eachother for this, they both had equal share. The fact that Dylan was some sort of innocent in all this, cowering under Eric's 5'7 brutality, is a lie perpetuated by Dylan's dumbshit parents and a boy who had an insane crush on him and writes books trashing Eric to this day.

Tbh, after a few years of sustained interest in this case, I agree. I don't know what it is, I acknowledge the victims but I don't really... Care about them, especially like I care about Eric and Dylan. Maybe it's all the time I put into unravelling their lives, their journals, etc. All the hours of discussion with others, just so much effort and time dedicated to those two. NBK was something that happened, and as terrible as it sounds, that's all it is to me. No one I know was in anyway directly or indirectly affected, my attention in focused purely on the features of the massacre.

I've talked to a lot of them on Kik out of curiosity, and it's amazing how in depth their research is, how much they know, how much they enjoy discussion and theory.
