It was so real I didn't even get scared until the next day. At the moment I truly believed it was Dad. He'd get super drunk, pass out and roam the house like that about once a month and I'd normally lead him back to bed. Still remember that vividly to this day.

You know what's crazy? I live in AZ and as you may or may not know, we have a bunch of Native American Reservations around here. About 7 years or so ago I was driving around the northeast side of Tucson with my friends. Pretty often we would just all squeeze into a car and drive around wherever super late at night. I've always been the type of person that's on their toes when they are out and about at night anywhere that isn't inner city. So, as we're driving around in a pretty far out neighborhood, we're stopped at this stop sign for a decent second. I can't really recall why we stopped but I had both the side mirror and the rear-view mirror within my sight. I remember to this day seeing a fucking huge animal or animal like creature pass behind the vehicle and me only seeing the outline. Keep in mind it was night out and hard to really see much but I know what I saw was not a horse and it's body was too long to be a human but it was clearly visible over the trunk of the car. We had the front window on the passenger side down as well and we weren't talking too loud but I shit you not, the thing was next to fucking silent. One of the other friends in the car saw it as well and was also like what the fuck was that...? We never had any idea what in the actual fuck the thing was until seeing you say skinwalker and me googling it. That's crazy. Out here, we have mountain lions and shit but nothing that is large enough to pass by the vehicle like that and be seen over the trunk. If it were a bear down from the mountains north of Tucson, it would have been longer and no where near as silent. Damn...

What is it with kids and seeing weird shit
My family all claim that as a kid, I would drag them to my closet in the middle of the night, open the door and tell them "I see people standing there"
No idea what that means, but apparently, at around age 6 I could see short people (according to the description) hiding in my closet. This freaked my parents completely out, but I wasn't scared as a kid.

I personally don't have any accurate memory of this, all details are from my family telling me this (parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles)

I work at a brewery. In the cellar once I felt someone put their hand on my shoulder when I was kneeling down in front of a tank... I look up and turn around and there is nobody there. Some people say the 1 st floor/ cellar at work is haunted. I also saw a ghost walking around once wearing the same uniform we have but it disappeared in some hot water steam.

this is the haunted orphanage in marquette michigan. we used to break in there as college kids. my friend almost died when a piece of the ceiling fell inches from his head. they used to keep a little girls body on display as a warning to other children. no joke, look it up.

I live really close to Bobby macks bar in Kentucky ,which is supposed to be one of the most haunted bars in the nation. The bottom floor gas a real sordid history, and they even give tours of the bottom it's so common people see stuff there

I have an a friend that lives around Picture Rocks outside Tuscon. She has few small children. The kids love playing outside. She said there are times when the kids just all run into the house and "something creepy" is outside.

One night, she saw something like you described. Even the neighborhood dogs, that usually bark up a storm, got dead silent with an occasional whimper or low dog wine heard.

She said there was something at least ten feet long and three feet at the shoulder go past cactus plants she knew well where she could judge its size. Two toddler age children started to cry and ran to mommy after this thing left. Another thing is she didn't see any of their cats for over a day after this thing came and left.

There are many that say all these bullshit three and four letter mental illnesses only exist to put kids on drug suppressing psychic abilities.

Some of the most psychically aware kids I know are home schools (LOTS of Wiccans homeschool their kids) and from, oddly, Catholic schools with very strong spiritual background seeing psychic abilities at "mystic gifts" if the right Priest or Nun spots it. The "crazy" is them being told what they can do is not real but they are doing it. Had an ex like this. She is now a mom and her kids have similar gifts.

You guys frequent paranormal threads so maybe you know something. I'll just come out and say it. I've When I was 14 I sat and laughed as some of my friends raped a girl. I was drunk. It was stupid. At the time I was drunk and for a few moments it was pretty entertaining. Now after everything I've been through I would give anything to take those moments back.

We were camping, we were all drunk, and she had the misfortune to happen along. She was young and pretty and all alone in the middle of the woods. One of my friends grabbed her and told her to take her shirt off. She fought, and ultimately she couldn't fend them all off. I sat on the truck and cheered while they stripped off her clothes and took turns with her.

She screamed, but out in the wilderness no one was coming to help her. There wasn't another person for miles. When they were done I started feeling kind of bad. I looked at her bent over a boulder and felt the tiniest ping of regret.

And she started humming. It was tuneless almost. Hmmm hm Hmmm hm hmhmm Hmmm hm hmmmm. Everyone became extremely uncomfortable immediately. She bent herself up and walked back around our SUV still humming. She wandered off into the woods.

We all just sat there silently for a few minutes. No one was laughing. No one was high fiving. My brother said "We should go." And we all wordlessly agreed. The general understanding was that we were leaving because we'd just committed a crime and didn't want to get caught. But there was an undertone of fear. Something was really really off. Drunk and unnerved we caravan-ed halfway across the state to one of the guy's parents' house. We piled into their living room just before sunrise and fell asleep if we could.

There was a lot of murmuring in the morning. We all went our separate ways and the goodbyes were barely more that passing glances.

Since we had a campus ministry nearby, instead of leaving, we doubled down and fought back at it. Daily prayer for months and always prayer before any meal including a late snack. Nothing happened. There was absolutely no response.

I'm all out of ideas. There's really something about this online. The closest thing is a few stories about sirens stalking people but it never mentions groups.

I actually have a story, ive told it here once before. Even though its far less terrifying than a lot of these others.

The only confirmation i have that what i saw might be supernatural is from my mother whom i confided in at the time.

When i were young, 4-6 years old i would stare at the top of the stairs. Facing laterally to the entry hall to the house and the front door.

This would happen consistently for the entire time we lived there, we moved before too long however due to unrelated circumstances.

But it would always happen at night 8-10pm, to clarify i wouldn't stand for several hours at a time staring but would fixate at the top periodically.

Years would pass before my mother would mention this and when i enquired further she told me she'd asked me several times what i were looking at/for and i'd reply to her that i'd seen a smiling woman waving to me.

To this day i cannot remember for the life of me that i saw her, but i remember well the time i spent staring at the stairs.

What's more, the woman was likely my grandmother who died of cancer in the house when my mother was only 11 years old. My cousins can also attest to supernatural goings-on.

Anyway, as I finish lining up the toys along the railing I sit back and watch as they suddenly fling off the railing to the right and fall onto the floor in front of the closet... leave the room.

Later on, maybe a few weeks after changing around the room so the bunk bed is on the opposite wall so the closet is more open and accessible. Going to sleep one night and I swear I hear breathing in my ear, too scared to turn around so I move closers the wall and cover my head.

My mom's friend living in the building had a baby girl who would see something in the air, something about a man floating around her closet. Pretty creepy place, to say the least.

A few years ago my nan died. It really shook me up. She pretty much raised me and was the only adult I liked or felt close to. Was devastated and admit for like 3/4 days after I was a mess. Cried heaps.

Four days after she died I was in the shower of all places just sobbing (I know real faggotry) when the light went off. I was in complete darkness.

The light switch for the bathroom is in the hallway, but there was no one else home at the time. Its not possible anyone else switched it off. I raced out, turned the light back on and finished my shower. Something told me she did that, just to let me known she was around. I felt better after that and stopped being so much of a crying faggot.

Nothing else ever happened. So now I think its possible if there's a real emotional bond sometimes someone who dies can muster up the energy to send a message.

This is actually my second child hood memory, the first childhood memory was when I was outside of this house being held by my mom and me and my family are looking at it.
I was probably 3 or so, and all I remember is walking up the steps to my new house that my parents had just bought, there were two sets of stair cases, one that led up the small hill from the drive way and another that led into the house and there was like a fucking angel or some shit just standing right at the top of the first set of stairs, it had a yellow glowing aura and it was all white with white wings, no face or anything that I can remember, and it was just looking up at the house and pointing to it. It didn't really seem to freak me out but it was such a beautiful sight that it is forever imprinted in my brain. I can see it in my memory like it just happened yesterday. Never told anyone due to the fact that I was 3 and everyone would probably just say it was my imagination but that shit was fucking real. I drive by that house frequently and always have a sort of feeling of happiness or a sense of relief when I pass by. Never saw the angel/entity/ what ever the fuck again after that.
