So put the effort in. You can earn more money, this is evidenced by the fact that other people do. You don't need to do that by getting a better job or waiting for a promotion, you do it however you can.

For example: when I was a student I used to buy and sell a lot of cars. I'd make between £50 and £100 on them, I'd never sell one worth more than £1000 and the first car I bought was a L reg Vauxhall Astra for £250 (my monthly student loan) and I sold it for £300. This is simplified of course but even if you don't know anything about cars you've got the Internet! You can at least see what cars usually sell for. Find a cheap looking one, see what they usually sell for. If it's cheaper than that then buy it, clean it, put an air freshener in it and sell it. There's loads of ways to sell.

Live cheap, save money, improve your ability to earn. The above example is just what I did and I recommend it because it's fucking easy. There is always someone looking to sell a car and always someone looking to buy. Get yourself between them by buying what other people want. When I was doing it the Internet was dialup and new, I had to drive them to main roads and advertise with signage. These days you can do that and list them online too. There are Facebook groups dedicated to the buying and selling of cheap cars. It's a freakin' golden age right now.

This is legit advice dude: one little adjustment to your current outlook will make a difference. Look around and don't see people doing things you think you can't do, see people just doing things. You can do things too. Maybe not what they're doing but you can do what you can do.

Look at where you can put some more effort in. If you've got a job then keep it, use your off work time for something that will earn money. It's what I did, anecdotally it worked for me, anecdotally it works for lots of people too. Should work for you.
