I've only ever had two true friends in my life, my current eldest dog and my younger dog, but now I worry. It's not so much as self pity, but as a kind of feeling that I must strike back at the world. My life was never all that great, for a short while, it was absolute heaven. Things changed though, practically had my father get killed. My mother went from stay at home to working 24/7, and try as I might, she eventually became abusive.
