I've had this type of event occur several times in my life, so much so that i have had to seek pretty hardcore psychiatric treatment. I am not medicated other than zoloft. I go on living my life expecting the next major thing to reset me again.

Ive never experienced the coma sensation but i do remember being young enough to breast feed. Young enough to sit in a high chair. I remember learning to walk and getting my first haircut. I remember being an infant but im told that this shit is impossible. I have had these memories since i was a child i make it a point to never forget. Sometimes when i relax and focus i can taste things from my infancy.

thankfully ended up with both of us being all right, but i had such a mental breakdown that i took some time off of work to get straightened out.

one of two things are going on, either we time skip during certain events back to a "reset" point or our brains store more subconscious information than we could ever expect and is able to build a "safe spot" for us to temporarily enjoy while it heals and resets, and the triggers are physically shocking events. similar to falling down a set of stairs in a dream or shit like that.

Not the same shit but something strange happened few times to me too.

Me and one of my buddy were once on a long trip. We were staying in the same room at a random hotel and I wake up all swetty and realize that I had a nightmare of some WW2 air battle and shit where I think I died at the end. I turn around and see my buddy there also woken up from a nightmare. We tought nothing of it and went back to sleep but the next day we got talking about it and the shit was spooky. We could finish up each others sentences how the dream went. We had the same dream and we were in the same plane it seems.

The crazy thing is that we got to talking some more and it turned out that we have had similar dreams for years and usually involving war. Both of us had seen similar battlefields in our dreams and both had died by the sword or been loading an old musket in a line formation and shit like that. A different place, a different time and different weapons but same thing really over and over again. Sometimes we both had seen some technology we couldn't even understand while awake but in the dream we could operate and the place was not on Earth it was somewhere else high up and desert plains beneth us or something and the aircrafts there (if you could call them that) were extremely fast but you didn't feel the g-forces for some reason. From those dreams it's harder to remember things but they also matched.

We don't know what this means but few years later it turned out that we might actually be very distant relatives too.

So strange shit just happens I guess.
