As one who studied clinical psychology in university. I am most certainly open. I think its something that everyone needs some education in, even at a highschool level.

In christianity, God is supposed to be omniscient (all knowing), omnipotent (all powerful), and omnibenevolent (all good).

If that is the case, there should be no evil in the world, and yet evil exists.

So either a) God could remove evil, but doesn't know about it (kind of a shit god), b) God knows about the evil and wants to stop it, but can't (not really worthy of worship in that case), c) God knows about the evil, and could stop it, but doesn't (so he's just an asshole).
