Gotcha. Well, hasn't been much activity in a bit, other than my occasional posting.

On the one hand, it's been a while since I did some poly work and this has actually sort of jump started it. Though, I'm tired and it's late as fuck, so I'm probably gonna sleep anyway.

What I will say is, I'll probably make some new images tomorrow and maybe make a new thread for my polyscape and glitch art stuff if anyone actually cares.

Whether or not you'll be on when that happens, I can't know, unless I decided on some particular time in which to make said thread. Kek.

Regarding your font thing, I agree a few of them could be a bit better but I'm curious which ones you're referring to? Name the ones you think look good, and the ones you think look sloppy. I obviously changed the font after a certain point. I'm wondering if it's the change of font, or the implementation itself.

I enjoyed the first few, my personal preference with images like these (not to imply that my way is "right" or that I have any credibility on the subject) is not to have any text on them.

Awesome! Yeah, I kinda know what you mean. I started the text thing when I was doing location specific shots, where it felt reasonable and almost a great idea to add a little modest text advertising the location in question. Does that make any amount of sense? Also, the textless ones are older. But I could definitely do more textless ones later.

It definitely makes sence and I can completely understand it's inclusion, I'm just personally a fan of reasonably minimalist images as backgrounds. That being said I have nearly 2GB of wallpapers that rotate across two screens every 10 seconds.

As for critiques/suggestions, the blurring in the background of the first few didn't seem as harsh or as concealing as some of the later location ones. For example in the original pic and the one of the street lights, you can still mostly make out the rest of the image. That being said they're still reasonably clean images, whereas some of the location ones are very busy photos

Yeah the reality is the business is most likely the culprit there, but I don't actually know if I made a harsher blur itself than the old ones, I can check because I just found the old source file, but I definitely agree they look harsher and more constricted.

I'll take this all into consideration for future images, which includes what I intend to do tomorrow. If you guys keep my hypothetical thread alive (tomorrow, not now) I'd be willing to take requests as best I can and take my time on them like I tried to do with the mountains. Your font issues aside. =P
