Light emitted by a disk could still create a circular shape on the surface, not an oval as shown in the GIF (in fact the distortion of the light into an oval implies that the surface is curved and not flat so the GIF goes against your point).

The sun would also need to be low to the surface of the earth in order to have such a small spread (relatively speaking) - which would mean we would all burn to death. A simple experiment that proves the flat earth model wrong:

Set up a post that will cast a shadow from the "setting" sun. If that post casts a shadow higher than the post, then the flat earth model doesn't work because in that case the sun needs to go below the horizon instead of appearing to go below the horizon as it moves too far away to see.

You don't need a post, any object would work, you can stand in front of your house or look at a tree.

Oh good, an actual number to work with. So at noon, the Sun would be 3k miles up from a stationary viewer. Which means at sunset from the same spot, the sun is over 9k miles away from the viewer. Which, if the flat Earth model were true, the angular size of the Sun (or moon in similar positions) would appear 3 times smaller when it's at the horizon vs directly overhead. However, when you actually measure the angular size of the sun, it remains constant.

Basically, things look smaller the further they move away from you. Between noon and sunset in a flat earth, the suns distance from you triples so it should look much small by sunset. It doesn't get visibly smaller, therefore 3k miles is flat out wrong. Care to try again.

you also completely misinterpreted what NASA actually said. What they said is the image is a combination of several different images from different wavelength filters. This is because astronomical cameras only take images in a very narrow range of wavelengths (which I'd be surprised if you even know what that means). If you only had one band, it would be black and white. They combine different wavelengths to produce a color image. This is not "photoshopping", it is science and a very common practice which you'd know if you had any clue how astronomy works.
