Nothing important. It's been the most famous military base in america for half a century, only a complete idiot would expect them to still be trying to hide secrets there. If there ever was anything important there, they would have moved it to a more secret location a long time ago.
Advanced research development. Basically all the cool toys the highest level spec ops guys get to play with.

>>737855559
Not true. It's still the most secured and remote base in the US. It's where they test and work on the latest military toys. Not necessarily aircraft which the base is most famous for but shit the delta force and seal team 6 guys get to use. We're pretty sure they have tested and used a fleet of highly efficient and long range electric dirt bikes that can travel long distances in desert environments in near silence allowing for fast infil and exfil.
>>737855559
lol they've been using it as a testing base for prototype aircraft this entire time.
why the obummer administration would admit about it though, has me baffled...

The clearances and surveillance groom lake employees go through is the tightest the government has. Nobody that works there is talking about it on the internet.

Your stupid for thinking theres anything worth that much security in there.

They probably research prototype fighter jets and other military technologies. When they lose one of the airplanes, they claim it's ufo, not something theirs because the projects are secret (against other militaries).
>>737856971
UFO were CIA planted stories in the media. They effectively covered up there tests by spreading disinformation and sensationalism.
>military base inventing bombs and vehicles in the desert
>people think aliens live there
>government says nothing about it
>there must be aliens hurr durr
Lots of secret aircraft projects, weapons and maybe some armour projects going on there but nothing more and nothing less
>>737857341
They didn't need to plant info, all they had to do was let people think what they want and put up a security net. Those that can get dirt on area 51 are threats of the highest level. There's not much there, but the whole ufo thing makes great b8
aliens.

More like bioweapons reasearch. It's remote enough to minimize the risk of an outbreak.

Hate to tell ya, but I've been out there and it is just a boring ass desert now. Too much publicity led to the facility operations having to move to somewhere out in Utah. So far no one has identified a location of the Utah base.
My favorite theory was Hitler's flying saucer. When the Allies occupied Germany at the end of WWII there was a facility working on developing a wingless aircraft that supposedly had some kind of unique turbine that would actually run on air, meaning once it took off it wouldn't need to be refueled and could stay aloft indefinitely. There was one prototype in the facility that didn't work, and one of the engineers swore that there had been a second, functional, prototype that he had seen Adolf Hitler and another man get into and fly away. The largely implausible theory is that Hitler was actually avoiding capture by staying in the air in a fairly small craft for several years until he was shot down over Roswell, NM in 1947.
A similarly colorful theory asserts that this air-burning flying saucer began to accelerate uncontrollably until it basically melted at such a high velocity that it is still in orbit today, known as the "Black Knight" satellite. I like the first theory better, though, because it involves the USAF shooting Hitler down instead of him just dying in a freak accident.

how can food be that cheap where people are starving? That shit just doesn't make sense. In a land where there isn't enough food and people are starving to death, food would be expensive.
