I have four jobs right now, but I'm not stressed. And 3 of them I can work whenever I want.

I was freaking out a 3 months ago when my only job at the time fucked over 90% of the employees and made us all 'on call' for the summer. I made 15hr and worked 50 hours regularly. Most of the other managers are reporting the new regional for this because it mostly fucked them.

I had a small dog sitting gig through Rover, and could board dogs in my free time whenever I want. I also did pedicab since tourist season is good this year, and I wanted to exercise more.That's a make your own schedule deal as well. I did those two whenever I had free time from my other job, like if it was a slow week or holiday and no orders came in. Stashing cash into savings for a few things.

Since I was made 'on call' I asked around my friend group for a few jobs and got a pretty easy one as an associate manager at a gas station 3 blocks from my house. EASY fucking work. No stress. The regulars are great. Discount on everything in the store. Its not glamorous and I took a 3.50 pay cut, but I like it more than my original job. So now I mainly do that, with pedicab and dog sitting on the side. And I stayed 'on call' now that the other job is back and just work double days there for extra cash whenever big events roll through.

They keep trying to get me back but I told them I want paperwork saying that I will never be put 'on call' again and I want a 2 dollar raise. Which would make my pay comparable to similar positions at other companies in the area. No one else there is cross trained to do what I do there, or has the certifications I do. And I'm friends with the director of my department and the applications they have been getting are shit. He supports my decision and has been trying to help me talk the regional into it.
