Sure.
I have both auditory and visual hallucinations. The primary visual ones are a tall lumbering "empty" black figure that wears a trench coat. Where his eyes would be are two holes. The other visuals are like little lights that float around, and the occasional disembodied face.
The auditorys are voices, and random sounds like people walking in the house, animal sounds, birds, etc.

I'll try to answer as best I can though.
It is the creator of everything. Without it, there would be nothing. Every atom inside the universe was created by it, and is a part of it. It essentially has breathed life into everything.

Did the ECT help? I don't know a lot about it.

I think ECT helped me the first time by merely being in the hospital. I was there for a month so it helped. Between in and outpatient I had about 30 sessions. They recommend maintain every year.
