A little background: I'm average height, above-average looking; I noticed girls check me out every now and then but I look very young. I've never had a girlfriend and I have social anxiety and pretty much no friends. However, I'm lean and I work out so I'm starting to get some gains.

What battle plan should I have to get a gf or hook up with girls?

Sorry in advance for the wall of text, but here's my plan.

1) I'm thinking of first getting over my anxiety and insecurities via exposure therapy, meditation, and socializing with strangers (non-sexual) and trying to make friends, even if I end up acting awkward at first.
2) Meanwhile I'm going to try taking up a couple of good hobbies and read books and videos on the topic of "game", social skills and humor (YouTube channel/video and book suggestions anyone)?
3) Only after this will I begin trying to get girls' numbers and asking them out and going on Tinder, again accepting that I'm going to suck and probably fail in the beginning.
4) All the while I'm going to go Monk Mode - I'm severely limiting my time on nonsense like web surfing, video games, porn (nofap), and TV unless it's comedy I can learn from. (And yes, I won't look at 4chan after this.)
5) If the way I'm going about socializing and dating fails, then I'll modify my approach and see what works.
