I think the more interesting aspect here is the legal precedent that it will be setting.

The claim that he was depressed and not capable of acting as his own agency and that her telling him to do it was in fact a crime because of that then it seems like it is paving the way, or at least opening the door, for depressed individuals to commit crimes based on the urging of others and having the other person charged.

It is never that cut and dry but the very notion of what this decision represents is, at least to me, terrifying.

Manipulating someone into suicide after they hide all evidence of your involvement is a crime, yes. It's similar to a gunman forcing a guy to kill himself or his family will be shot, and then asking if the gunman is really to blame. The point here is that she coerced him into killing himself, which reveals her intent to have him die, which constitutes (or should constitute) murder.

There are certain nuances to law but sometimes it's fairly cut and dry and this happens to be one of those cases where it's pretty plain to see which way this will go.

That's why it's not murder 2. Manslaughter by definition is a modifying factor of a foundational offense. She committed a crime in coercing him to kill himself. He did indeed have the choice to do it, but the fact that her illegal action was a factor in his choice makes it manslaughter, simply because he died. If you want to get technical, no she didn't kill the fuck, he killed himself. But she's still guilty of manslaughter because he crime had something to do with it.
