You have to still go to the office to check in to maintain your eligibility, because of fraudsters putting in for aid and taking cruises, casinos, etc. It has nothing to do with a park. In order to be eligible, you have to participate in training, etc.

If you were referring to "going to a park" there are a lot of feeds and handouts that are "hidden" some on purpose so the authorities won't close them down. Others because the handouts aren't plentiful. Used to go to one where the ladies owned a couple of mcdonalds and they would hand out two cheeseburgers and a coke, so was very popular. Others were individuals that you could tell were making food and handing it out, so they didn't have a lot, you had to have a personal invitation.
