I might disagree. Is the skank coefficient higher on free sites? Probably, but your filtering system is what's important. Consider--I met my wife in Yahoo!'s dating site (don't know if it even still exists), but it took a while to find her since I had to sift through so many duck-face photos. But I think it is important to really consider what you want versus what are deal-breakers versus what you can live with. Then, you need to think about what you can bring to the table.

Then, I put together a couple of paragraphs about me--general stuff like what I do (chicks dig employment), height/weight (don't lie--eventually you will meet the person in person...), maybe generic hobbies. Spelling and grammar count, so proofread your shit unless you want dummies, which is perfectly find, mind you. I had the same text that I would send to everyone--easier to compare responses.

Now you look at the responses. Can they express themselves? Can they use sentences? Do they note that Hitler didn't do anything wrong? Do they admire PETA? do they volunteer for Bernie Sanders or Richard Spencer? Here is where you filter the shit out of the responses.

It seemed to work for me, but I tend to write well, so swapping messages works well for me. I think that attitude, brains, curiosity, and a wicked sense of humor trumps a huge rack, especially if you are looking for wife material and not a quick fuck.
