Sup. I've searched through the Internet and never found the answer, can you help me, /b/?

Trying to launch PC with gtx1050ti, having 1 long and 3 short beeps, display is black.

Replaced the gtx 1050 ti with amd 280x = working fine.
Replaced the gtx 1050 ti with gtx 460 = working fine.
Inserted the gtx 1050 ti into another PC = working fine.

Changed the cable from DVI to HDMI = still black screen and beeps of error.

Motherboard is Rampage II Extreme with the last bios.

I don't know what to do, I've tried everything.
>>
>>736736332
Install gentoo
>>
>>736736413
I can't install gentoo, because the display is not working.
>>
Mother board issue?
>>
>>736736541
Working fine with another video cards, dude.
>>
>>736736541
Nvm. Didn't see the bottom of the OP
>>
>>736736601
Ok, any other suggestions?
>>
>>736736332

Your shit's all fucked up man.
>>
>>736736332
The problem is you've got too many beeps. Put out less beeps and you should be fine.
>>
Reinstall driver. First time didn't take.
>>
>>736736846
Video card drivers, or motherboard?
>>
>>736736772
Shiiiiiiiiiit
>>
>>736736332 Sounds like your DRAM is bad or not seated properly.
>>
>>736736332
Plug in the power.
>>
>>736736956
>>736737027
Don't know how it could help, because the display is not working from the start. There's no errors (or I can't see them)
>>
>>736737153
I suggest taking out your RAM sticks one at a time(following you mobo's proper RAM assignment in reverse) and then putting them back in correctly.
>>
>>736737153
How can I check if DRAM is ok?
>>
Whats power supply?
>>
>>736737549
see
>>736737528
>>
>>736737394
I've plugged, lol. The other cards are working great with the same power cables.
>>
>>736737563
Thermaltake 750W
>>
Just Google your motherboard and see what the beeps represent
>>
>>736736332
put in the original card or lack of one it came with

boot, enter bios

turn off secureboot in the bios

reinstall new card

you're welcome
>>
>>736737528
Proper RAM assignment is putting them in same colored slots to make it dual channel? (my mb can into triple channel, but I use 2 ram sticks)
>>
>>736737758
I can't boot without card, because my MB doesn't have the video output. But I'll try your suggestion with the gtx 460, thanks.
>>
>>736737605
Try turning the system on with just one stick in. If that doesn't work try another stick. If it still doesn't work it is probably not the RAM and is likely the MoBo.
>>
>>736737904
whatever card was in it last time it worked - probably the card you bought the machine with
>>
Just bang the top of it a couple of times
>>
>>736737904
use other pce port, always had this problem with asus mobos, from sound to network to gpus some of shit just like other slots
>>
>>736738121
I've tried. 280x and gtx460 works in every slot. 1050 ti not working in the same slots.
>>
>>736737786
Usually proper RAM assignment is something along the line of:

CPU is here-->[ ] ||||<----and ram slots are right here

From the closest slot to the CPU the pattern is usually A1, B1, A2, B2. If you have two sticks of RAM you put them in A1 and A2. If you have 4 you'd fill all four slots. If three A1, A2, and B1.
>>
User's Manual > Chapter 2 > One long four short beeps = hardware component failure; one long three short beeps = No VGA detcted
>>
>>736738490
You get that op?
>>
>>736738378
I have 6 slots. A1 B1 A2 B2 A3 B3. Ram sticks are in the A1 A2.
>>736738490
I can into google. But how to fix it?
>>
>>736738490
OK op well guess you are gone. Best of luck
>>
>>736738490
I don't get it op. Obviously the card

Why the fuck do you think this is the card? It works perfectly on the other PC, I've told you.
>>
>>736739016
The gtx460 and 280x needs more W than 1050 ti.
>>
>>736738490
Wait, OP does is the CPU you are using an APU?
If it is you need to change the settings so it can use GPU.
>>
>>736739055
Holy shit dude. Why are you being an ass when I'm trying to help you
>>
Reset bios
>>
VGA isn't compatible with your motherboard.

Or it isn't properly seated/connected.
>>
>>736739055
I'm not saying the card doesn't work, but there is a conflict using it in that particular pc
>>
>>736739189
Because if you read my opening post you see that I've tried to put the gtx1050ti into another PC.
>>
>>736739055
That is the problem. So don't be a dick when I'm trying to help. Apologize now op and I will continue to support you
>>
does your motherboard have a battery you can pop off? Do that first

There is also two short pins dedicated to allow you to short it (while its off and unplugged as well)
Once the short is done, pop the battery back in and try rebooting.

this should reset the bios
>>
>>736739141
My cpu is i7 920. How can I know it is using APU or not?
And what settings should I change?

>>736739195
I'll try. But I don't know how.

>>736739343
Where can I find which VGA's are compatible and not? I've found nothing about rampage 2 extreme and gtx 1050 ti.
>>
>>736739519
Try to read the op post before you post.
>>
>>736739523
I'll try, thanks.

Unplug your GPU from the system and start up the machine. Go into the bios and change the video settings from onboard to a video card.
>>
>>736740292
Also, it is an APU.

It may simply be that Windows is trying to load the outdated incompatible 32 bit drivers. If you delete this folder, then it will allow Windows to load the proper 64 bit versions.

Had this problem with an Extreme IV and GTX690.
Turned out that the things that hold the cards in place (was like some sort of clip thing instead of just screws), pushed the card to far into the PCIe slot and damaged the slot. Put the card in a different slot and bench tested it and worked fine.
