You have to find something that you love doing, whatever it is, and let the obsession take hold of you. Find what you can't live without doing and either make a career out of it if you can, or use it to mitigate getting through w/e job you have.

Life gets better when you "find what you love and let it kill you", in the words of Bukowski. That doesn't mean succumbing to excess; it means finding what you love doing and going balls-deep at it until you're dead.

If you haven't found your 'thing' yet, keep looking and keep experimenting with new shit. You'll find it, and after you do, everything else tends to fall into place (gf/bf, friends, etc.).

Life isn't anything like school. If you fail in school, they still pass you along to get you out of there thanks to the no child left behind act. In life, there are no free passes forward like that.
