So, how did this happen you wonder (or not).
For the last year or so, i felt something different on my left nut that wasn't on my right one. I didn't feel any pain, i could still have an erection and cum with no problem, but when i quit my job i finally had the time to take an appointment to see what it could be.
The urologist immediatly said that something was indeed wrong with my left testicule, so i went upstairs to get an echography (this takes place in a clinic, so everything was available, and he told the service to take me even before other appointment, you can imagine that i was not really as peaceful as an hour earlier).

Another funny thing about the bandage. Since i didn't really know how it would look and what was necessary to tend to the wound, i had the doctor write me a prescription for a nurse to change it daily for the 8 days necessary for it to get better. Turns out it was just rubbing some antiseptic on the strips, and applying the bandage, but still.Since i live in France this was not coming out of my pocket, so why not?
So for the next week, every morning i had 4 nurses (they were part of an organism, they took turn to have a day off) coming to my apartment and do all that.
This isn't a porno so nothing happened, and even if i wanted to i was still really sensitive. This is called an "inguinal orchydectomy" (if i can believe google trad, Orchidectomie par voie inguinale in french), and instead of opening the sack, that holds several things that didn't need removal (epididymis, blood vessels, ...) and the skin is also much more flexible (i don't know about you but mine can move quite a bit), they do a little cut there, pull what needs to be removed, put some stuff to protect the plumbing around this part now that they scratched that part, and voila!)

You can choose to get an implant or not. It seems that in France, only a third of people who get a testicule removed choose that option, but being young i prefered to choose to get one. You can get it later (or remove it later), but that means another surgery, more bills (even if it's mostly paid here), more pain, more discomfort.
If i had been in a relationship i would have asked my partner, but if i ever manage to get one night stand, i think having one nut could be confusing.
The cancer itself was absolutely painless, which is why i took so much time to get it checked. i could have been smaller if i reacted earlier, but even months before i would have had to remove it sooo... The aftermath of the surgery were a little more painful. I couldn't sleep on my stopmach for a month (which was my usual position so that sucked), i couldn't really lean forward too much, and laughing too hard or taking a shit was painful since it strains your pelvic muscles.

Well i don't anymore, my body is free of cancer now that the tumor has been removed. I was lucky enough to only have it located entierly on my left testicule. Didn't need any further treatment or anything.

Mmmh, not really sure, mine was covering almost half of the testicule, it wasn't "inside" it per say. I don't really now what would have happened if i didn't take care of it i didn't really ask, but it think it would have spread and maybe even to more than the left one.
And in my case, they could have cut the testicule in half, but there is always the (not) chance that all of the cancerous cells aren't removed, and in any case, half of a testicule won't work anyway so removing everything and testing what it really is later is easier.

Oh shit, this is what i feared more. When i said i had to pass in a scanner to see if nothing spread anywhere else. Weirdly the worst thing i could think about with chemo was that i would loose the hair i spent the last 2 years growing. It pretty obvious, my right ball is not perfectly smooth, but it's a mostly regular oval shape, and if i squeeze (not too hard because it hurts) it has some softness? I usually compare it to squeezing your tongue inside your cheek

The left one on the other hand, i could squeeze pretty hard without feeling anything, the top half (where the tumor was) was really hard, like touching my teeth under my cheek (again, to have some kind of comparison).
The tumor could start anywhere, from any size. If paint indicate to right size in cm, this is kinda what mine looked like.
