You don't really believe that there are "so many religion", yes many of them exist but the claims of 95% of them are so ridiculously absurd that you cannot believe that they are real.

Id say there are about 5 or so religions which someone might have serious doubts about, and of them, id assume islam to be the best for many reason, but ill take the simplest form, its the vaguest, most religions have specific statements that require a lot of mind gymnastics to justify, not islam because almost anything that can be provable is so vague that you can assume it is true, even today.

I don't deny that a god could exist, if proof of one came up and he/she/it turned out to be a good creature/actually interested in us, then sure I would change my position.
I get that people do things because they believe it is a good thing to do, my point of contention is the hate that some people react with when I politely say no thank you.

Mate, you can do whatever you want, but the point is that it is not a logical move, unless you don't believe that there's even a chance of god existing (Which is also illogical, but moving on), then the logical move is believing in a god, in a general manner, and as time moves on, in a specific manner.

Gonna go ahead and say that this is an outlier, my friends, who are the main reason I am still religious up until this point in my life, who are so religious that they have not missed a single prayer in literally years, have never done anything similar in their entire life, they never even mention religion outside of our circle.

Until someone comes up with evidence either for or against a god existing, I'm going to reserve my judgement and just live life on the notion that I myself am accountable for my actions and that if I don't want people to consider me a shithead, I'll have to act in an amicable way.
