Fairly new. I'm about level 53 last I checked? No prestiege. Haha I don't play it ridiculous amounts because it is really fun and I know if I burn it out, well, then I'll never touch it again. Lmao
I play enough to get the skins, emotes, and sprays I like from events, and then take breaks. Maybe get better at certain characters in the mean time. Ya know?

I am about level 230 and I have 123 hours on Widow. My friend bought me the skin. I love it.

I was one of those weird people who pre-ordered the game as well as the origins edition. This skin used to be EVERYWHERE when the game first came out cause everyone felt special having it.

Got the skin cuz preordering didn't cost any more than buying after release.

I don't play much anymore, level 60 or so. it was fun until some of my friends started bragging about mmr and doing ranked all the time, and blizzard starting shoving ESPORTS down players' throats. Still good for a laugh now and then, has no business being a competitive game. I'm not great at shooters and I guess fun isn't allowed in any mode.

I played my first ranked season just this past season (season 5) and I honestly don't see what's great about it. It's just a game mode with people taking the game too seriously, except now when you lose you actually feel even more terrible about it. May have just been the people I talked to about it. But after it released, it gained a lot more traction. I know that for sure. Therefore, the Noire skin is one of the rarest skins other than the Blizzcon skin they gave out.

I questioned your maturity/sanity/perception because you seem to have concluded that because you don't own something, it is rare; and because you weren't in to something, it wasn't popular. Every games site was covering OW, ads were shown for it in theatres and on TV, all of Blizzard's networks (mostly WoW) were piped full of OW ads. Even you knew the multiplayer design and lore setup pre-release, despite not being interested in getting it. It was so out there. To counter your anecdote with my own, of all my social networks of gamers, I've never seen a game with more hype, and specifically with more broad hype from non-FPS gamers and non-Blizzard fans. And most of that hype turned into purchases either pre-release or shortly after. The game's open beta had almost 10 million players, and two weeks after release had 7 million players. I don't know the exact number of pre-orders, but given the open beta pre-release numbers, it's almost certainly in the millions.

If you're upset that I'm being hostile towards a Blizzard game as not sufficiently indie, you're reading too much into it.

To be fair I just watch a lot of Kephrii and basically use his setup / settings. Then with over 100+ hours of Widow and not resting my wrist on the table I have managed to get decent.
