I get it. Russia hacked the election. You've told me 100 times a day for months.

And despite the sheer volume of you telling me over and over and over again that the Russians hacked the election, I still don't know WHAT was hacked.

I know SOMETHING was hacked and that something resulted in Hillary losing, but for some reason the press never talks about what that something was or how that something harmed Hillary Clinton. All they want is for me to know the Russians did "it", whatever "it" was, and because of "it" Trump's victory is illegitimate. They seem to believe that I don't need to know what "it" was.

Someone please explain to me how the Russians hacked the election. Did they hack the election booths and change votes? If they didn't do that, then what is "it" that Russia did that makes Trump's victory illegitimate?

I can't seem to get that information from the American press for some reason.
>>
>>735319850
That is because Russia didn't do anything. The liberal media can't stand it that Trump beat Hilary. There HAS to be a reason other than America couldn't stand Hilary. There is a long list of everything she blames for losing the election, Russia included. No one is naming anything because there is nothing to name. It is a fishing expedition.

You don't have to change the votes if the votes are never cast in the first place.

From what I understand her e-mail was hacked which revealed some shady stuff that was going on with her. This revelation supposedly changed people's minds about her and thus influenced the outcome of the election.

So they didn't really hack the election.

Is that all? The DNC did that this election too, to keep Bernie voters suppressed. Proof is in the leaked emails which ignorant leftist sjw cunts are afraid to even glance into, so of course they deny any validity of the substance of the emails without actually reading anything..

In January 2017, a published U.S. intelligence community assessment expressed "high confidence" that the Russian government favored Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton and that Russian President Vladimir Putin personally ordered an "influence campaign" to denigrate Clinton and to harm her electoral chances and potential presidency.

The report concluded that Russia used disinformation, data thefts, leaks, and social media "trolls" in an effort to give an advantage to Trump over Clinton but did not target or compromise vote tallying. These conclusions were reaffirmed by the lead intelligence officials in the Trump administration in May 2017.

Intelligence allies of the U.S. in Europe had found communications between suspected Russian agents and the Trump campaign as early as 2015.

Investigations on Russian influence, including potential collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian officials, were started by the FBI, the Senate Intelligence Committee and the House Intelligence Committee. Six federal agencies have also been investigating possible links and financial ties between the Kremlin and Trump's associates, including his son-in-law Jared Kushner and advisers Carter Page, Paul Manafort and Roger Stone.

When the press refers to Russians hacking the election, what they are referring to is the hacking of senior Democrats’ email accounts and publishing those emails on Wikileaks.

The emails revealed collusion between the DNC leadership and the Clinton campaign. The two entities cooperated with each other on how to insure Bernie Sanders did not get the Democratic nomination. For example, Bernie Sanders won the state of Massachusetts by a landslide (over 60% of the vote), but Clinton walked away with more delegates even though she lost. It was that collusion between the DNC and the Clinton campaign that enabled her to do that.

the Russian hack of the election is the act of waiting until a week before the national election to leak those emails, which infuriated Bernie Sanders supporters, many of whom stayed home rather than vote for Clinton.

The press keeps saying "Russia did it" "Russia did it" "Russia did it" "Russia did it" "Russia did it" because as long as they are pointing a finger at Russia, you're not looking at those emails.
>>
>>735319850
Russians tried and failed. Military Intel (GRU) ran an operation that failed. The powers that be have known it for months. This Russian connection was formulated within 24 hours by the Clinton campaign to explain the loss.
>>
>>735319850
>Attempted to hack* it is a known fact now

>Releasing information to Wikileaks to have released (which I have no issue with, just wished they released the same on the Republicans INB4: They did not have anything to hide bullshit - fucking morons).

>what is "it" that Russia did that makes Trump's victory illegitimate?

No one is honestly saying that.
Many places imply it, but no one is actually saying that.

What Russia did was hack the Democratic servers for dirty little secrets,
then expose them at the correct times to distract from
Trump's own mistakes.
For example, the big dump occurring ONE HOUR after the pussy-grabber video tape.

This changed the minds of simple-minded voters,
which is enough to swing the election in the rust-belt states.
>>
Fucking idiots. This has nothing to do with who won the election. Russia want's the US to look weak and foolish. They didn't vote manipulate. Trump won legitimately, and no one wants to re-litigate the election. What we should want to do is stop russia undermining us, no matter what manifestation that takes. In the last election they chose to promote Trump because they know they can control him remotely and make the US weaker. You're helping that if you buy into his presidency. Remember this in a year or two when we are in the dumps and russia is riding that wave.
>>
>>735322045
>it is a known fact now
No it isn't.
Whether or not Russia hacked the election is contentious. They are using the word hacked in the looses since of the word.

A bunch of edgy Russian teenagers trolling Facebook isn't the same thing as a state sanctioned electronic warfare campaign. It could just be that millions of Russian kids didn't want a feminazi running America.
>>

Yeah, that's pretty much it. They showed us what a cunt she really was.

Now keep in mind this is going to be the way things are going forward. Next Presidential election expect both candidates to have this happen to them and frankly that's a good thing.

They're just mad because Hillary didn't get to be the first female President of the US. This inconvenient hacking of her emails cost her some imaginary place in history that she thought she was entitled to.

Mark my words. If any evidence of hacking does emerge, it will be on Hillary. She spent over 1 billion dollars on her campaign, illegal/noneligible people voted for her, and more than likely had people killed. Wouldnt be so far fetched to say that she probably had people hacking in her favor. And, before any screams "But my Russians" remember that her brothers company (with help from Clinton Foundation) mined US uranium and sold most to the Russians. Also, she absolutely sabotaged the Bernie campaign.

Russia hacked Hillary's private email server (something that wouldn't have been possible if she were using the government-approved and military-secured email server she's LEGALLY SUPPOSED TO instead of using a private email server with faulty security where she has the ability to delete emails at will without any supervision)

Russia found a bunch of REALLY bad emails -- showing that she supported child trafficking, that she rigged the primaries, that she stole a bunch of money, etc

Russia released these emails publicly on WikiLeaks

In doing so, Russia:

>hacked US servers
and
>influenced the election (by posting information publicly)

Ergo, Russia "hacked the election"

>>735320502
I agree that it's ironic and hypocritical but you could say the same about the opposite side.

Many suggested, largely based on implication and innuendo of what could potentially be conceivable rather than direct evidence of anything, that the election was rigged and the results would be invalid when they thought they might lose. After winning many of the same people are acting like even considering the possibility that the election could ever be manipulated is pure paranoid conspiracy delusion and ignoring the dangers of a foreign power even trying to manipulate our election.

You could say the same with hypocrisy about destructive protests, I see plenty of focus on liberals chimping out and rioting and how their violence show's they're the bad guys yet before the election along with accusations of rigging, people were threatening assassination and marching on washington for open rebellion and civil war if the election was "stolen" from trump.

Are you an employee of the White House / Government, instructed to say that you favour brexit, and to post as part of a coordinated campaign with other government-paid staff, because a government policy is that brexit will weaken the UK or give advantages to the US?

that's the difference you don't seem to understand.

if Putin had said "I would prefer to work with trump/clinton/whoever" that's not of concern. Many world leaders expressed preference.

the concern is that they did a _clandestine_ campaign to influence the election, to _their_ advantage. The russian economy is in REALLY bad shape.
There are mass poisonings from people trying to drink "alcohol alternatives" because they can't afford alcohol and have a massive substance abuse issue. They have massive numbers of addicts of the necrotising pseudo-heroin that was too trashy even for the midwest where it was made. Even as they try to distract with militaristic fervour the majority of their military infrastructure is out of date and crumbling and they don't have the money they're trying to spend on fixing it.

Multiple nutjobs at multiple rallies.
I didn't save clips or pics but there was plenty of death threats towards politicians and calls to march on washington and overthrow the illegitimate government if they "stole" the election, lot's of coy smiles and talk about second amendment solutions and watering the tree of liberty.

Clearly we focused on and remember different things from the election but I assure you I'm not pulling this out of my ass or turning one anecdote into twenty.

>it's just because they thought they'd have a better chance with him getting sanctions removed or lessened

because trump is easily flattered.
he's easy to butter up. you offer him hotel rights in moscow, you tell him he's the "greatest leader", you tell him how amazing the inauguration was, and yes, it was the biggest, and he'll lap it all up, and then, yes, the sanctions would be abandoned.

or it will be a little easier to get something else they want - and so on.

Trump is easily manipulated, and that is a weakness to exploit.

Unfortunately for them the leaks of his associates talking about it behind the scenes before ethe election poisoned the whole matter of lifting sanctions for the moment though once enough time has passed or there's enough of a distraction I wouldn't be surprised with them going for it.

Even so I'd guess putin counts it as a win since he's at least not putting up any new sanctions like hillary might have over anything from military action and crimea to how they treat fags.
>>
>>735319850
It is pretty obvious, think this is bait.

russians hacked RNC / DNC computers ( among others ). They released juicy tidbits on a timed schedule to smear clinton's campaign. They hacked ( at least ) 1 company responsible for voting machines, and were gathering information on the poll workers, and shit like that.

Did they "hack the election"? depends on your definition of hack. Did they literally hack into computers, and use that information to benefit Trump? yes 100%.

We can argue about whether or not they were successful. Depends on who you talk to right? And it is impossible to measure that type of impact.

Russia was also actively involved in a disinformation campaign to discredit Clinton.

I personally believe that Russia / Manafort had some kind of deal. I've yet to hear any explaination for why Trump, as soon as he won the RNC, changed their platform to block military aid to ukraine. that seems really fucking specific for someone who doesn't even know where crimea is.

something else I want to add. I've always supported wikileaks. If they had dumped this DNC shit a fucking week earlier, I would have been grateful. They would have exposed the DNC corruption.

But instead their timing was designed in the way it would target a specific politician ( Hilary ) . At the same time they specifically did NOT release any of her opponents email.

I have a problem with that. That isn't just "information wants to be free" that is using that information for political gain. And I do have a problem with that.

>They have repeatedly said in testimony to congress that there is, as of now, no connection with Trumps campaign and Russian involvement in the election.

Wait until the investigation is over. Because they haven't released any finding yet. There is a world of difference between:

"I haven't seen any evidence of collusion" and
"we have decided there is no evidence of collusion"

And even "evidence of" doesn't even mean it didn't happen. eg: Hillary's emails ( oh noes! ). Again - do yourself a favor, research manafort. See that guy for exactly what he is. And ask yourself this simple question:

"Why was Donald trump's first act as the republican nominee to change the GOP platform to block military aid to Ukraine.

See this is what makes me think Hillary's group had originally planned to hack the vote. But when GO time came, they fucked up or something didn't do what it was intended to do. I don't know if Trump or Hillary would have won, all I know is I think Hillary tried and failed and when a recount was issued their failed attempt was sooooo painfully obvious it was better they just cut and run.
>>
Nothing was hacked. DNC thought that they could manufacture some outrage by attempting to link Trump to Russia, the idea being that stupid inbred conservatives would be whipped into a hate frenzy. What they forgot is we hate liberals more than Putin.

Do you guys fail to understand the burden of proof.

Let me make this easy for you, You really dislike Trump, I get that. But what you are doing is letting your dislike for Trump effect your objective view of what is happening and what has been revealed through these investigations.

This is very much a repeat of the birther thing and Bengahzi

and Bengahzi had way more tentative links to real wrongdoing than this, but there was never any conclusive proof of wrong doing.

Thats how the legal system works.

actually I'm not. I thought the russian shit was a bit far fetched until the RNC. literally the first power Trump has, and he wants to block military aid to ukraine.

That was the red flag for me ( no pun intended ).

It would also be nice if Trump didn't spend so much time sucking putins dick. Has he ever had something negative to say about the guy?

Whether you agree with it or not, it was a fucking weird first move. Is it evidence of anything? no. Is it really fucking suspicious - I think so. I mean... people are claiming russia is helping you in the election - and the first thing you do with your political power is to help russia?

Why not syria?! I mean that is what everyone cared about right? Ukraine wasn't even in the political discussion. But Russia sure as fuck cares about it.

Anyway, for me it seemed like the it was payback. Trump wasn't going to win - he wouldn't be able to do shit for Putin after that.. so the one thing he could do would be to try and block some aid to ukraine. ( obviously it turned out differently ) Isn't trump giving the russians back their spy houses Obama seized? I'm sure Trump ( being a great negotiator ) will get something good in return. I mean.. right?

Why did the United States spend 5 billion dollars "promoting democracy" in a country that already had a parliament?

Could it be that the West wanted to control the Russian-built, Russian-fed natural gas pipelines that run through the Ukraine into Europe, so they tried to install a corrupt pro-Nato prime minister in the hope that doing so would lead to them being able to seize control of them?

Its not that they "hacked the ELECTION," because if it was that direct we would have heads on poles. They hacked private information and released it to media(WikiLeaks). This caused the voting populous to form opinions, kinda like advertisements and promotions. Not that they changed numbers in the election, they just indirectly affected the results.

Now a disclaimer: I dont believe they did or didn't. I'm on the fence waiting for FBI director Mueller to conclude his investigation along with the special senate council that formed for Comey's testimony.
