I honestly made the mistake of falling for the "pc master race is good, just build your own pc" meme, since back then I didn't know that those posters were trolling.

Anyways, not long ago, I went on pcpartpicker and got the best shit possible for gaming and for editing (photoshop, after effects, indesign, etc).

I must admit, the assembly was pretty fun, and not too hard. It was like giving birth to a child. I was really excited and hyped up, until...

The built was up and running, but I couldn't play games above low settings at 1080p with a decent FPS.

Every game I tried was stuttering really, really bad. And I had on average 27 FPS... it would only go up when looking in the sky or on the ground.

The only game that was kinda o.k and went all the way up to 40-44 FPS, was Battlefield 1. It was still on low settings, but it looked good anyways.

Now, you're probably thinking that I'm running a toaster, but it's not the case. I have an i7 4790k, 32gb ram, SSD, Titan Xp (the latest one). I should be getting over 60FPS... on Ultra... in 4k, if I refer to benchmarks.

Now, I can't even sell the rig for a good price, because the components lose value every day.

The build was properly assembled. All drivers are up to date, and I'm not using integrated graphics.

Also, I have HWmonitor installed, and all the temps are good.

I've read somewhere that the benchmarks posted online are done on games where some game files were tweaked to get the most FPS possible.

So I guess I shouldn't expect the same results.

By the way, it's always the same thing with "PC masterrace people"... when you say that you are not happy with your build, they all start saying "bait" and never provide any arguments or a solution at least.
