I was just running a very hard, hardcore run. I made it a little easier by taking the NCR route and sneaking a lot. I did survival stuff for a while but said fuck it cuz weight.

There's a speech check you can exploit with a Powder Ganger in goodsprings. Before the ghost town gunfight.

Quick update, Patrice has a terrible drug update and has spent 500 caps on alcohol merely talking to Trudy at Goodsprings... We are now scotch addicts boys.

Good natured thief with light armor perks and gets EDE as soon as possible, plays as a good boy and maxes out locking picking and sneak as soon as possible, Is a handy survivalist and befriends Boon and Cass; maybe Raul if you are lonely and need an early game companion. Completely finish locations one by one save people whenever possible and build up a collection of loot. Armor is left up to you early game but the goal is the sneaky suit mark 2 and your weapons are again left open to personal choice. After building up money go and get the Intelligence implant as this build will only allow one. Do NCR quests and screw the rebellious locals. Caesers legion is your enemy because at worst the NCR would fine you or put you in jail; the legion would gut you. Destroy the brotherhood (after stealing their sweet loot) and generally be a master thief. Hardcore mode on and on Hard difficulty but with a combat overhaul to make enemies not bullet sponges.
