Put your bowl into a glass bowl and fill it up with water. Throw it in the microwave for 3mins. Drain water collect resin. That bowl will be free of all resin after doing that.

It's not ideal, but I used to use a large paperclip. I would bend it in a windy/zig zag fashion, then pt it in the mouth piece and spin it around, carefully. You could also heat up the pipe or pour some hot water down it to loosen up the resin. OF course you would have to dry the resin if you use water. But if you haven't scraped it like ever, for a long time, you should be able to get a ton by just spinning the zig zagged paper clip in there through the mouth piece.

Iv done this countless times as a child. It does not do any harm to your bowl not does it destroy any resin. You like the resin dry for like 10mins. Viola.

Personally, I don't think smoking the resin is a good idea (burns your throat like a motherfucker), but I won't judge if you're just trying to get high my dude.
Just take a small, sharp object (pocket knife, paper clip, even the edge of a lighter) and just scrape it off the sides. Hold the piece upside down though, so when you scrape it doesn't fall into the hole and clogs your pipe.

I was/am a lazy asshole, so most of the time I have kind of long nails. I would be able to just scrape/scratch the bowl and collect a fuck ton when it was caked up good. Just hold the lighter to the bowl for a few seconds to make scraping easier.

Why do you idiots think boiling hot water will hard the glass? You realize the bowl itself handles glowing red hot fire all the time and will never be harmed by it, right?

You realize the pipe was literally forged in fire, right? Boiling water isn't even close to that hot. Hot water won't do jack shit to glass.

The only way you can maybe harm the glass is to shock it with very rapid temperature changes. Don't just drop it straight into boiling water, heat it up with the water. And don't pour cold water on the pipe to cool it down when you pull it out of the hot water. Let the pipe cool on its own.

Glass can handle extreme temperatures. Glass cannot handle changing temperatures very quickly. It expands and contracts at unequal rates and since glass cannot flex hardly at all the unequal expansion/contraction causes fractures.

Soak your pipe in everclear. Drink the everclear.

Hands down the best thing is a Bobby pin . I straighten it out burn each end one at a time and wipe with some shit tickets in order to get the paint and plastic Bobbie things off. I like the Bobby pin because when it's straighten ed out it's flat Which cuts at the resin easier I believe.

Blow through the pipe for like 30 seconds or so while putting light pressure on the choke and bowl. Just enough for air to escape through. Then take a bent out paperclip and collect it.

The hot air from your breath will make it sort enough to remove

Yeah, I've put many pieces into just about boiling water. If you're careful and don't tap it on anything hard or drop it (obviously) it won't break. I think they're worrying about if it cools down too quickly after being heated. But if your piece isn't paper thin, you could at least put some relatively hot water in without ANY cause for concern.

Whenever I scrape the resin from any of my pieces, I always use something like a paperclip or bobby pin. Straighten them out, bend a couple millimeters at the end, and scrape away. If the resin is too dry to scrape, either dry hit the resin, or heat up the pipe (whatever way you deem fit) and it should soften it.

I just did the same shit with my buddies pipe after like 3 months of not smoking it. Pulled about 2-3 grams of resin out.

I hate smoking resin so I don't try to salvage it. I buy a bottle of 97% isopropyl alcohol from the pharmacy/walmart etc. It's like $1 or $2 a bottle, cheap as fuck. I have a small piece of tupperware just barely bigger than my pipe.

Fill tupperware about half full of alcohol, put in piece, put on lid. Let it soak for a while and turn it occasionally to help work the resin loose. The alcohol will dissolve all the resin and it will come out in big clumps and the alcohol will turn black.

Pour the nasty alcohol into the toilet and flush it. the pipe will be sticky with a very thin layer of resin residue on the entire surface. Give it a gentle rinse with some more alcohol., just pour it from the bottle gently and rinse the piece.

It will be as clean as the day you bought it. You might have to scratch off the really hard burned resin in the bowl.

The trick to not getting a headache smoking resin is to not suck in tons of butane fumes. When people do resin hits they usually burn the lighter for extended periods of time. Huffing butane fumes sucks.

OP here. I was able to scrape the resin for a solid hit or two. Semi high. Ive been smoking the resin out of this thing for a week. It used to just hit on its own if you held a lighter to it. Each time I;ve smoked and scraped more. It is officially scraped clean except for a streak right under the pipe hole. the resin had been hardened so hard it won't scrape. I held a light to it. Pristine.
