You know those movies, shows, books, comics, etc. where the fatass/scrawny emotional beta wants to fuck the hottest girl in school, so he keeps trying to get with her and prevails over Chad in the end?

It happens once in a million instances, and when it does it lasts for a week tops before she finds another Chad to smash her. Know how hot on a 1-10 scale you are, know how hot the girls around you are using that same scale, and target the ones that are as hot as you and/or the ones one notch below you.

You don't just *get* a girlfriend. A girlfriend isn't something that just, poof, appears.

Let me give you the key to getting ATTENTION from girls (which inevitably leads to gf), and this is coming from someone who didn't know who the fuck he was or what the fuck he was doing until very recently.

Invest in yourself and others will invest in you.

Take an interest in your talents (everyone has one, so shut the fuck up). This can be a hobby, a skill, whatever. It can be as simple as writing articles on your laptop in a coffee shop. Whatever the fuck you do, wherever the fuck you do it, just do it.

Take this and couple it with giving a shit about your appearance. Contact lenses, button-down shirts, whatever the fuck you want. Get a haircut. Buy some Vans. Go to the gym 3x a week. I don't care.

If you give two shits about yourself, others will give two shits about you.

That, my friend, is how you raise your chances. Nothing is guaranteed, though. I made all of these changes. I was once a perpetual shitposter. No life. I woke up one morning and decided to grab life by the balls. Do the same, anon. You will be surprised what happens with just a little bit of work.

ALWAYS know where you stand when it comes to leagues. Having a bunch of self confidence won't change it. Money, genetics, appaearance and status will. You can get a girl above your league sure, but you shouldn't be encouraging anyone to actively persue only that or they will end up giving up from frustration before they even get close.

I've had about 4 years worth of relationships now, 10 sexual partners (1 was really ugly, 3 were/are really hot, rest around my league) and I can say for certain that you're not leading OP in the right direction at all.

Start lifting or doing athletic activities, take up a hobby that requires a respectable SKILL such as cooking, crafting, musicianship, etc. Network, go to parties and events with friends, etc. If you're an introvert like me than use dating sites or tinder or something, or stick to hitting on chicks who share your interests like at game shops or conventions or what not. Get a good haircut, practice good hygiene, if you're an autist like I was when I was 13 get some friends to hang out with a lot that will teach you how to actually be cool and talk to people rather than come off as a condescending dweeb.

When you talk to a girl at first, talk to her like you would anyone else about stuff, and only add flirtatious stuff in when it seems clever rather than trying to force it. Don't try to make a girl your girlfriend either, just TALK to them and if you guys click then let the relationship get itself to the point that you are already boyfriend/girlfriend without the label. Its easier to be that way and just decide "Hey, were alrealreasy pretty much bf gf so why not make it official?" rather than the other way around where you try to label it off the bat and then force the relationship to conform to said label.
