Remember when "climate change" used to be called "global warming"? They had to change the name because the planet stop fucking warming, and they had to come up with some new bullshit to try to justify flowing the billions of dollars into their pockets. Al Gore can suck my dick.

Yknow, I don't know much about this whole issue, but isnt a big thing with this the fact that countries like China and India weren't required to conform to the standards until 2030, whereas the US was expected to conform pretty much immediately? And that is the justification for backing out of the agreement?

I'm no trump-tard or climate change denier, but if that is true it certainly seems reasonable. I've read he said he is open to negotiation on that point. All that would have done is caused a fuckton of US businesses to move overseas to avoid regulation, and it certainly seems there are some shady interests going on if that were the case.

Bullshit. Weather is affected by many things, cycles we go through with the sun, all kinds of things. And the only reason "scientists" support this global warming bullshit, is because the political forces against them are so strong, anybody that deviates from the political agenda is basically exiled to the fucking moon. Climate change has nothing to do with climate, it has everything to do with economic control, and globalists siphoning off millions of dollars into their own pockets. Elon musk is a prime example

Are you having a stroke? That was hard to read. If you meant what I think you did, then you need to begrudgingly understand that the guy who coined the term even admitted that it was a stupid term.

Global warming isn't just warming. Global warming is a natural phenomenon.

Climate change is then also a natural phenomenon, as a changing climate occurs when the phenomenon known as Global Warming does. This does not mean or prove that man cannot also help change the climate.

Yes. Weather. Did you know that when there is less white reflective shit on the planet, the dark, deep watery shit shows more instead?

Dark things heat up faster. White things reflect the heat and keep cool. Water keeps heat real good, so imagine an ocean getting hot without the cool relief of some white shit.

That changes more than weather.

Global cooling is a natural phenomenon too. And if you do a little reading, many many scientists have stood up to say that the game is rigged, that the data has been falsified, that they already have an answer they were trying to get to for political reasons, and are willing to rape the data to make it fit. >the earth's climate has been completely static since the earth was formed and only people have had any effect on it.

well if you new anything about anything, you'd know that there are wonderful little feed back loops in the climate that counter act these things. world gets too hot ice caps melt and shut down the trans-atlantic and trans-pacific conveyors and usher in a new ice age.

there's also solar cycles and particulate events (volcanic eruptions) that have a more drastic effect on the planet's temperatures than even the combined industry of America, China and India could hope to match for several hundred years.

TL:DR if you believe in "global warming" you're pretty much on par with a fucking creationist.

You know in other countries the right wing media and politicians are in full acceptance of climate change?

Yep they see it as established fact. Instead of calling it a hoax they make economic and political arguments to not take action at all.

A favourite argument is "why weaken our our economy fighting a fight thats totally useless because the americans will never change?"

Also guess what..you want to make the greed argument? Guess why only america is left not to sign.

Because the rest of the world is facing the extreme costs of climate change now. Its already costing shit tonnes of money, theyre already done and in submission, they already agree act now or keep losing....

While trump watches fox news.

Btw fox is illegal in canada.. You cant lie and mislead on the news here.

In b4 "hurrr liberals" i just listened to my favourite news station call our liberal government out on propoganda and corruption. Something you are totally allowed to do on the news here if you use facts figures and experts.

Fox news still isnt allowed here. Because they dont.

You're a lost cause if you didn't catch the explicit text I put down detailing that you can influence natural things. Gravity is a natural phenomenon. But you can still work against it, let alone increase it. Global cooling is a natural phenomenon. You can also encourage this through geoengineering.

You're either going to need to back up your claims with sources, or go peddle that false pill dichotomy another time.
>>
>>734467188
sigh
those feedback loops work over millions of years.
the climate change we're seeing has taken place in maybe a century.
look, I know you think you're clever, and that you've some how *broken the code*, or whatever, but the science doesn't back anything you say up. the anecdotal evidence doesn't. even my own personal experience doesn't.
but sure, believe what you want. it doesn't change what's actually happening.

There is no increase in extreme weather. On the contrary, it's been in a decline, same as "global warming" that's why it's all about climate change now cause global temps are also on a 15 year decline, so they had to come up with some other nonsense and try to make it non debatable. Go check your facts, not what people tell you to believe. Climate change happens all the time. It's normal.

The natural cycle is real. It takes millions of years. Atmospheric content is a huge factor

We're kind of changing atmospheric content with our activities.

Thats why is now taken a century. Not a million years.

BIGGER SIGH

yes and those loops take millions of years because temps rise slowly. So if the temps rise faster the loop gets faster and rather than thousands of years of cold then thousands of years of warm, get turned into centuries of each or if we really try our hardest, decades.

realizes moron you live in a fairly closed system.

if you wanna bitch about climate problems moisture redistribution due to cloud seeding is way worse for humans than temp increase.

That's an independent piece of art that wasn't created by Obama's team. It was produced independently. It organically became part of the campaign.
That's how things should happen.
What it wasn't was a slogan printed on a baseball cap that was created by and sold for profit by the candidate himself.

Not just that but nasa is posting the consensus ie what 97% of the studies show.

Thats what a consensus is. Not the opinion of scientists but what the studies show.

To put in perspective, liberals tend more than conservatives to deny gmos as safe.. There is an 87% consensus they are safe.

And they are safe.

Politics is where smart otherwise smart people start to get cognitive dissonance. The moment you throw on a tax or a political face people dont like, all logic goes out the window and hoard mentality rules.

Well, that may be one of the justifications, but I'm pretty sure climate change being a "hoax" is another main one.
You're right that that would put pressure on businesses, but the whole point is that that shouldn't be our focus -
He's of course correct in saying that this will benefit the economy, slim regulations on businesses means they're free to choose the most efficient policies, but..
At this point, we can't afford to just go with the "most efficient" option, we have to go with the most "environmentally friendly" option, because even though it will mean no economic boost in the near future, it will protect the planet which supports that business for longer.
Without a clean planet, we can't even have business. The whole deal with Trump is that he can't see the long-term impacts of stuff.

Tldr: yes, this will benefit the economy, but at the cost of our environment, so we'll have a spike in business and then it'll plummet because of climate issues.

I don't support government or pollution but I have plenty of knowledge in science. Co2 is not causing climate change anymore than cow farts are right now. We are living in the most stable environment in thousands of years. Be glad if temps do rise again and co2 increases. It's good for the planet. Climate changes over the years, there's no doubt about it. The big lie is what's causing it. Governments pay over 4 billion a year to pay any scientists to create false data to prove the correlation of co2 and temp rising. It's sad that governments are allowed to control science these days.

>Co2 is not causing climate change anymore than cow farts are right now
That's bullshit. Bullshit emits methane. Methane is more potent than CO2, but lasts a shorter while. If you knew anything about natural gasses, you'd of not said that bullshit about bullshit. Methane most certainly does more damage than CO2, they are absolutely not the same.

>We are living in the most stable environment in thousands of years
Bullshit, the poles are still melting, ice is being re-added into the hydrosphere from glaciers that have been removed for over thousands of years, and permafrost, ice that is supposed to never be able to melt, is melting. Remember methane? All the methane bubbles trapped under the ice from all the vegetation and dead animal matter is being released once it thaws. If you thought a couple cow farts were bad, try a series of geological ass cracks.

>Be glad if temps do rise again and co2 increases. It's good for the planet
No it isn't. Rising temperatures and less cap coverage threatens 80% of where our oxygen supply comes from. Hotter planet, more fauna, which results in ecologies that have to struggle to maintain equilibrium.

Lol oh really? I've seen those hockey stick charts before. I know how they are altered. Maybe you should learn how this data is collected and manipulated before believing in it so much. Go check the ice core samples kid. Climate has been both hotter and cooler than we have ever experienced before in the past. We are very stable right now. Don't worry. The co2 isn't doing anything. Co2 levels have been way higher. Co2 increases after the ocean temps go up. Not before. The oceans act as a co2 sink but they tell you that co2 goes up, then temps go up. It's a straight up lie.
