My friend brought a homemade crack pipe to school once when I was in high school.

It was a regular light bulb with the insides taken out from the bottom. The white stuff on the inside washes out with water and just remove the whole middle part of the bottom (the black circle part) and the inside filaments.

Back when I was a crackhead, I liked using soda cans the most. It was easy to make and could be disposed of easily.

Take your can, push one side near the bottom in about a half-inch. In the middle of the dent, poke like 10 little holes with a pin or tack. Test the airflow by sucking on the mouth piece. You don't want it too airy, but it shouldn't be a struggle.
Burn a cigarette for the ash. Ash the cigarette on top of the holes. Crush the ashes gently to make a bed for your crack. This is so it doesn't just drop down to the bottom of your can as soon as the heat hits it.

Honestly though. If you're going to keep this shit up and want something more permanent... Go find a thin metal pipe, roughly the same length and thickness of a crack pipe. Find like one inch of hose that fits the end so you don't burn your lips. Get steel wool. All of this shit can be found in the trash. Literally.
