You need to find one with the right traits. Living life with someone who has your back, can support you, tell you when your doing dumb shit, etc helps in a lot of ways. The benifit comes with having someone who fundamentally thinks different than you and can give you different perspectives - because we're not all perfect, all knowing and that's how we learn.

Taking the actual reality of the world into account and the fact that many relationships end in divorce shouldn't stop you from trying to find one who can give you all these good things. What I would say is that the current MATRIARCHY in the west fucks over men in so many ways now that many are too fearful to try.
