The problem is that when you try to activate, Apple has the serial number linked to that account. To be able to unlink the phone, you have to write a new serial number to the phone flash and you need equipment for that.

Also, find my iPhone has been activated for that account since you connected to WiFi.

You can use the DNS trick or the trick where you input so many strings in the wifi password field that it crashes to the home screen. That's what those so called unlockers do. Although it gets you past the lock screen the phone is still locked. You can basically use it like an iPad but that's it. Until you can either enter the correct iCloud information or somehow convince a tech at apple that it's your phone you won't be able to use it as a phone. Anyone who tells you otherwise has no clue wtf they're talking about. If someone actually could fully bypass it we would have seen demos and such at places like defcon and hope.

It's got end to end encryption and you can't try and change what server the phone connects to in order to trick because of kernel patch protection. Even if you are able to unlock it (and you won't be able to) you will still have to figure out a way to un-blacklist the IMEI (which you won't be able to either).

If you needed a phone so badly stealing a locked iPhone is not the way to do it. I'm not saying this because I'm against stealing things, I'm saying this because it's the truth. Unlocking a stolen iPhone and un-blacklisting the IMEI are impossible.

Create a bruteforce attempt on it that tricks the phone into thinking it powers down after every attempt and it wont lock out.
