Guys, I wanted to share a good tip for removing ticks.
Use an old wire cutter with wear on the cutting edges, enough that you can see light through the gap. It should be snug enough to grip the tick without cutting it off. Carefully grip it as close to the skin as you can and pull slowly and firmly straight out. Worked prefectly for me on the first try.
