Calling all Britfags. Get ready for a Labour government. We will have more multiculturalism not less. Discuss.

Civil war when?
>>
>>733259268
Nah, I reckon May will still Win. Besides Labour wont make the money to spend on the shit they claim.
>>
>>733259268
The whole world has more multiculturalism, and progressive politics is the way of the future. Conservatism, nationalism, and traditional values are dying off.
>>
>>733259268
>Labour
these cocksuckers need to end their existence asap. Form a more radical socialist coalition unless you want to be subservient to liberal capital's agenda. there are so many true radicals in the UK, and the only movement they are supposed to relate to is these old-school, senile, useless, clueless Labour geezers. This must stop.

Either side can be populist, but when it comes to left vs right, the left is clearly well ahead.

Labour supporters going wild because they're a mere 9% behind in voting polls lol why is that something to be proud of especially when these polls alllllllways target Labour voters (ie: the unemployed who sit at home waiting for the call) and are proven wrong every time when it comes to the actual vote. Conservatives will win it and thank god that we won't all be wearing grey jumpsuits and referring to each other by numbers while Commisar Corbyn watches over us and smiles
>>
>>733259753
That's not fully coated that's extremely hopeful figures pulled out of their dicks that don't account in any way for human behaviour. Probably because communist groups hate human behaviour and would rather we are machines

>>
I'll admit I'm a Labour voter myself, but serious question. What reason do any of you have for voting for May? She's fucking awful. Even for /pol/tard Trump lovers, I don't get what about her represents what you're about.

She's a crusty old moralist that's still committed to globalisation, wants to control the internet and isn't inspiring in any way whatsoever.

At least Corbyn is for the working man. At least we know he dislikes the EU and dislikes globalist market forces. Surely he represents you more than May does.
>>
>>733261049

>>
The only way conservatives win, is with the aide of the Russians.
>>
>>733261343
This.Corbyn does represent the working man, Theresa does not and if someone thinks she is they're a fucking moron
>>
>>733261049
It's about momentum (pardon the pun). The polls are moving in the right direction. Every day, a few more people realise that May is a useless empty suit. Every day a few more people are inspired by Corbyn's message.
>>
>>733261343
>At least Corbyn is for the working man
"The working man" you say, as though rich people and business owners never worked to get what they have and aren't far more useful to our economy than Gary from Oldham who fixes bike chains
>>
>>733261455
Heil!
You are retarded if you actually buy into an old man's charisma when he's really just an IRA supporting dreamer. Absolute cult of personality and it's so dangerous
>>
>>733261541
So useful that they've actively lobbied politicians to lower wages, ship jobs overseas and to get huge tax reliefs and tax breaks
>>
>>733261343
Anyone voting for May is an idiot. or a rich twat scared they'll have to start paying their fucking way for once.
I hate "the left", at least how the USA describes it. But I am voting Corbyn because I don't want privileged wankers telling me I need to cut back my spending because they want 5 course dinners paid for daily by me.
>>
>>733261647
>people wanting things that benefit them is only ok if they're shitmunchers who don't contribute at all
>>
>>733261541
That's fine - you're a standard issue tory. I just got the impression that most right wingers on 4chan are a different type. Trump and Brexit happened because of people being sick of their government sucking 0.1%er globalist dick and not representing them. May represents everything those people are against.
>>
>>733261541
I bet you're one of those fucking idiots that voted trump, despite the fact he (and to be honest Hillary) are vastly under-qualified to run your country.
>>

>>

>>

No one brought up benefits, but if a corporation is paying less in taxes than someone who is on a 48-hour work week on the minimum wage, then THEY should not be entitled to benefits
>>

>>
>>733262095

??????? typical dumb tory voter thinking
>>
>>733262175
It's not the same thing you utter sperg. "Benefits" refers directly to government funded handouts as literally everyone in the country knows, while anything as little as being told to have a good day could be something that you benefit from

Wow, this is a fun thread. Reminds me of the whole Trump / Clinton race in the US.
>>
>>733262313
you're literally just coming up with excuses to be correct at this point
bigger picture is, you think that business owners who generally pay zero corporate tax, who lobbied to lower wages, ship jobs overseas over shitty trade deals and get huge tax breaks, still deserve benefits despite paying less in taxes than an average working class person
>>
>>733262531
No I don't and they don't pay less in any way, you are genuinely retarded if you think that. Tax hits everyone, there are ways to lower it if you own the business by putting the cash back into it (which also helps the economy with funding and employment) but even then there's tax on it. As for "coming up with excuses to be correct" yes that is called being right about things, you should try it some time instead of spouting nonsense and lies

Oh right, but you don't mind doing it for the scum of society that play the system to get benefits? You seem to be rather confused as to what voting labour actually means.
>>
>>733263401
Ok so not 40k because of levels where it kicks in but you're still utterly retarded if you think people who pay more in tax than the average person ever earns doesn't contribute
>>
>>733259268
OP, I hate Teresa May as much as the next sane person but did it ever occur to you that 4chan is not the best place to "discuss" anything of consequence?
>>
>>733263482
It costs more to fully means-test all benefits claimants than it would gain us to eliminate the tiny minority of fraudulent claimers.

Contrast that with people who "earn" their wealth mostly through dumb luck and a rigged system. There's a lot more of them and they're certainly getting a lot more than free school meals and a council house.
>>
>>733259268

Yes but they're not getting it at anyone's expense - to the contrary, they then give more (through tax) and often create jobs

Increasing certain taxes doesn't guarantee reciprocal increases in revenue. Read about the Laffer curve. Labour wanted Corp Tax at 26% in 2015 election, their forecast gave £6bn less than what was actually taken by having corp tax at 20% in the last financial year.

Also, we need to grow the economy, see we'll take £25bn out of it, then replace it with £35Bn that we borrow. Seriously wtf are they on about?
>>
I find it amusing that Labour thinks that, if they just do what they do every time, it'll somehow provide a different result this time around. If you unfairly tax businesses and innovators, they'll leave. Is the cost of driving business out of the country accounted for in their simplistic manifesto?

This also doesn't say how much they want to borrow to bring everything into public ownership. But it ok because we'll pay for them from the profits AND we'll make the services cheaper for everyone AND it'll help us pay off the debt.

Seriously how much do you think these companies make? Not to mention the interest on the Billions that would need to be borrowed slowing down any paying it off.

Just like Alec Salmon in the Scottish indy ref, saying they could do everything proposed because OIL.

Economy will grow more when there is liquidity and opportunity for greater return on investment. Increasing corporation because "business is evil" negatively effects both these factors. UK economy also fastest growing western economy since the tax has come down. We also got more atx at the lower rate than was predicted by have a rate third higher.

Why would anyone vote Tory?
They're fucking posho cunts who get paid by other rich cunts to pass bills that make both cunts richer but fuck the actual country up.

Corbyn tried to broker peace deals with the ira. In public view.

Maggie Tory cunt Thatcher said she wouldn't bow to terrorists.
Secretly bowed to terrorists ira by trying to get them to stop, in secrecy. Hypocrisy. Cunts.

Corbyn has always been on the morally and ethically righteous side of issues.

Why are you Tory voters so fucking blind? The conservatives are cunts. They want to asset strip this country for money and leave us to the wolves.

They don't give a fuck. They just want to line their own pockets.

There are too few native british in medical schools tho, ignoring the challenges of sifting through the retards who all want to do psychology because, and I quote, "there is so little to do I will sleep for days unless I set an alarm for meeting my friends".

Source: I walk through a university hospital every day.
>>
>>733269228
Considering most of the things people that you think the brits made came from other places i dare say they didnt do much of anything.
>>
>>733269285
honestly i think weve got a bad setup for our higher education system. im just coming to the end of my time at uni now, and ive got to say for some subjects there is just so little time actually spent doing anything its hard to work up the desire to give a fuck a lot of the time. i could work a full time job along side my "full time" degree and still be putting in less hours of work than my fucking dad does. not all courses are like this of course, but i personally regret my choice of course.

if you want to get native brits into medical school your best bet would be to reform secondary school to no longer focus so heavily on the bottom end of the performance spectrum so the people who are at the top actually learn to put in some effort, and then youll probably want to zero all university fees for hard sciences, because to be quite honest weve got more than enough people taking soft sciences and technology courses, and engineering courses pay for themselves easily enough.

>>733269553
point to the city of algiers on a map for me

we dedicated an entire fleet of our navy to patrolling africa for slavers and shelled a slaver city out of existance 40 years before the americans made slavery illegal.
>>
>>733270070
I know that secondary school is a joke, I did absolutely nothing for my gcses and still passed with As. There is something wrong with the system when you don't attend year 11 because of extreme circumstances and can still achieve high grades.

I liked the old Olevel style.
HE could be better if it wasn't retarded and rammed a universal 4 year engineering course into 3 years.
There's a lot that doesn't make sense to me but unfortunately it means for years society has churned out too many useless individuals at a very high cost.
>>
>>733271166
i spent the entire of my time at secondary school fucking about and generally being a cunt to my teachers because "lol fuck rules im gonna read novels in maths class", and in spite of that i still kept myself in the top set. only reason i didnt do reasonably well in secondary school was because id pissed off that many teachers i pretty much got railroaded onto the lower papers, so no matter what i did i wasnt walking out with more than a C.

i dont think the time is the issue as much as how its spent, doing comp sci at uni fealt like being on the dole with deadlines.
>>
>>733271488
Lower papers are cruel, it should be a simple standard where you just get graded by percentage and leave it like that. If a teacher misjudges, which they often will with so many students, then they effectively capped off capable students which is horrible.

>on the dole with deadlines
I had one semester with labs (rip compulsory 3hrs) every week and by default lab reports due every week on top of regular assignments. You still had to revise for the same amount of exams that semester, they just didn't spread out the workload fairly.

So yeah, have to agree with this time bs. Goes hand in hand with compressing a 4 year course into 3 years.
>>
>>733272097
agreed man, fuck lower papers with an iron rod

to be honest i would be fucking fine with 9 hour university days, at least it would feel like im doing something, and id actually learn more than how to make babys first x kind of program

>>

Conservatives are even more the party of government surveillance than Labour.
>>
>>733272621

Yes, because leftists have a real great history when it comes to government surveillance...
>>
>>733272678
That's just an appeal to history rather than looking at what's actually happening right now.

Theresa May is the moraliser supreme and has always had a massive hardon for extensive surveillance, moreso than anyone in Labour.
>>
>>733272815
>Theresa May is the moraliser

>Jez spends all his time harping on about "muh fair share", "muh rich fat cats", etc.

Jez is even more of a moraliser. They're both twats.
>>
old fag reporting in.

It seems most people commenting are labour supporters, so please, answer this for me.

In my entire life, i've only met two types of labour supporters:-

1) poor, uneducated northeners who blame everything on the torys. hurr durr my shitty industry has gone, it was thatchers fault! give me muh benefits

2) middle-class Londoners who shouldn't really be voting labour, basically a bunch of hypocritical plastic liberals

Why in all my years have I never met an ordinary, normal person who votes labour?
>>
>>733273081
True but her moralising lines up more with surveillance. She wants to ban porn and watch what everyone is doing on the internet. She's pushed more than any other modern politician for extensive communication data hoarding by the government. She's fucking dangerous
>>
>>733273096
nice try Breitbart
>>
>>733273096
>2) middle-class Londoners who shouldn't really be voting labour, basically a bunch of hypocritical plastic liberals
you cant be liberal and in favour of group rights m8
>>
>>733273213

As does Jez's. How do you think he's going to go after tax avoidance, foreign accounts, and such?

Hint: increased surveillance

Also, Corbyn and Labour are the face of speech policing.
>>
>>733273096
I'm a middle-class-ish Londoner who works in the public sector and I'll be voting Labour. It just makes sense from my perspective. I also don't think it's mindless greed, I feel like I'm massively underpaid and it's thanks to the Tories.

Seriously I work in the NHS and I could get paid twice as much in basically ANY other Anglophone country. We need a government that pays a fair wage to the public sector otherwise everything will come crashing down very soon. I'm that close to moving to Canada myself.
>>
>>733273213
Agreed
>>
>>733273376
Maybe - that's your perspective I guess. I feel like there's more speculation on your part though in respect to Jezza, whereas May is actively openly and unashamedly pushing for a high level of state surveillance.
>>
>>733273412
Honestly, why don't people like you just move then, it's not hard, as you've said you'd be paid twice as much.

I know someone in a similar situation, they moved to Kuwait and after working for a few years ended up opening their own private medical care service. Long story short, she went from about £40k in England, to £180k in Kuwait (whilst working) and now she's in business herself it's turning over mid 7 figures.

Less complaining, more action taking. Seriously, not only will you get paid more, in most places you'll be taxed less also.
>>
>>733273551
>I feel like there's more speculation on your part though in respect to Jezza, whereas May is actively openly and unashamedly pushing for a high level of state surveillance.

Mate, how the fuck do you think he plans on ferreting out what assets people have hidden away? Corbyn is just another stalinist authoritarian twat.
>>
>>733273647
Well I will move probably. I've only been qualified for 18 months and I've already been looking seriously into it. But it's not an instant thing, there's a lot of hoops to jump through to make my qualifications valid in another country.

And the fact is - whether or not I move that job will need to be filled by someone and it's increasingly difficult to hire and that's thanks to the Tories.
>>
>>733265694
why do you hate your own people anon?
>>
>>733273789
People like you are funny. When it comes to things such as mass surveillance on the gen-pub, it's got nothing to do with Labour/Tory.

Those things come from higher up and get passed through government by public servants.

To say one party would be better over another is ridiculous. They want it, they get it. Simple.

inb4 conspiracy theory nutjob
>>
>>733274038
do you think its that, or do you think its a prevailing political zeitgeist in the establishment parties? not saying corbyn is any less dangerous than may, but i suspect a change in partys or at least the people in them might be what we need
>>
>>733273914
My advice to you would be to hire an agent. I don't know what they are called in all countries, but they basically take care of everything for you, from securing visas to like you said ensuring your qualifications are validated.

They can be expensive, but you can work out deals where instead of paying 100% up front, you can negotiate a rate based on projected monthly earnings in said country.

Also, when it comes to earnings in this country, as a public sector worker, there is only so much you can be justifiably be paid without the general public, specifically the plebs complaining about wage gaps and such as NHS etc is funded via tax.

Which is why I'm surprised you'd vote labour, since most of labours vote are against high pay for the public sector.

is that podium photoshopped? Or did conservatives literally just steal the "Forward" from Obama 2012 and the "Together" from Hillary 2016 and paste them together?
>>
>>733274349
It's not just about paperwork. I'd probably also have to do a top up qualification for the countries I'd like to go to because the way we qualify is different.

>Which is why I'm surprised you'd vote labour, since most of labours vote are against high pay for the public sector.
Mate this isn't about high pay. I'm on Band 5. I'm living in a room in a big shared house like I'm still a fucking student. The tories have capped pay rises for 7 years in a row now and have vowed to keep doing so. It's a fucking joke. I don't want 'high pay', just a reasonable middle class wage like every other fucking first world country manages to pay for a profession like mine.
>>
>>733261343
>I'll admit I'm a Labour voter myself, but serious question. What reason do any of you have for voting for May? She's fucking awful. Even for /pol/tard Trump lovers,

Move out of London to somewhere up norf

Band 5 is peasant pay in london, but at least somewhere north you will be able to mortgage your own property instead of renting.

Downside: it's up north, but your money will go further.
>>
>>733274939
I don't want to live in the north. It fucking sucks. No matter how much I think I should be paid more - I'd still rather have no money in London than be a homeowner in Hull.

I'm sticking it out here until I get things sorted for Canada or USA.
>>
>>733275238

Get out of the UK altogether. I moved to the states and the standard of living is loads better. Makes Britain look like absolute shit.

>>
>>733275238
I get what you're saying, but you're looking at things wrong.

I know someone who transferred to Manchester. Bought a new build in Stoke for £110k, average house price is around £80k.

40-minute commute to work, but owns his own home and will be retiring soon because he's not a slave to his debt anymore.

Also, fuck USA and Canada, middle east is where you want to go. High pay, little or no tax.

Work there for a few years, build a nest egg then come home.
>>
>>733259568
In that case tell British seniors to die quicker.
>>
>>733274937
I hope you realise the US has people doing the same, even in allied countries.
>>
You brits are so fucking retarded. You're going to vote for sodomy via bankers or via migrants. And that's all your fault 'cause you can't get your shit together and vote for people other than Labour and Tories.

Don't get me wrong. I fucking hated Hillary being the face of the party , especially since she should have got the message in 2008. However, to her credit, she was:

1) A senator
2) Secretary of State
3) First lady for 8 years (while this is mainly a ceremonial role, she was still right next to the action and married to the president for 8 years)

Outside of being the vice president or a governor, there's literally no other positions that would better prep her for the presidency.

She's a shit candidate (she failed at talking to people like real people), but experience wise, I can't knock her.

Before becoming PM, May was home secretary under whom immigration exploded to heights not seen since Blair.

Tories aren't UKIP or BNP, they are right wing in economics only, which means more cheap labor (immigration), pro-corporation tax dodging and surveillance and proposed censorship of the internet.

Corbyn isn't going to solve the problem of terrorism and paki child rape gangs, but at least he doesn't have absolute contempt for the working class like the Tories.

There is no good option, the country is dead under both parties. Just get out asap and never look back.
