I forget what it's called, but all of my life I've had this compulsion to twist up hair between my fingers, it's just the most relaxing and soothing thing ever, I can't explain it.
I have really long hair and have no danger of loosing too much of it, I can yank out just one strand to get my fix, but it's something that I've always tried to resist doing with no success.
Last week when I was buying a card to get virtual monies for my autism grinding skinner box vidya gayme I saw these things at the check out as an impulse buy and bought one without even knowing what it was, and it has actually helped me.
Well, helped me in the sense that I've traded one compulsion for another, but this one doesn't affect me in any negative way and is probably way more accepted by society.
