The Blair Witch was okay, but not great. I remember that Blair Witch Project was a big deal when it was in theaters, I think it was the first shaky cam/found footage movie to be a big hit. It was original, but doesn't hold up as well because a few found footage movies (VHS and VHS 2 in particular) I think are better. The Blair Witch isn't worth paying to see, eventually it will be on Netflix or Hulu.

I went to the Washington, DC premiere of 'The Exorcist'.
(Yes..., I am really that fucking old.)
It was at the Biograph Theatre, about 1 block away from the house (and infamous staircase) where it was actually filmed.
(And..., according to legend..., where the actual events oon which it is based took place.)
We went to the filming location after seeing the movie.
HOWEVER:
My roomates and I thought it would be an awesome idea to take LSD right before entering the theater because..., "Hey..., 'Fantasia' was fun on acid, right??"
None of us were the same for about a month.

The problem with The Fourth Kind is it bases most of its horror aspect on "real footage" of "real people and events". Most people believe that and find the movie scary. But quickly jumping on google or IMDb clearly shows the actors and actresses playing the "real person/footage" and all. Maybe it's just people blindly believing the entire movie is true without looking into it that ruined it for me, but it wasn't much more than decent before I learned all that.
