I drink 3 or 4 coffees in the morning, then have a piss.

Let it sit for a few hours then pour the piss onto a tarp or kiddie pool or something with a large surface area *but pour it through a coffee filter*. Keep the kiddie pool full of piss in the sun until it all evaporates *don't let rain dilute it*

Collect the crystals that are left behind and mix them with sugar to make either a smoke bomb or sugar rocket.

You can look up either sugar rocket or smoke bomb to get the exact ratio, hell you could even make gunpowder with the stuff, but if you really have a 5 gallon bucket of your own piss, I doubt you would actually get that far.

Most importantly, take pictures of the process and post results.

Fermentation should kick off and be pretty active within 24 hours if you're using decent white wine yeast and nutrients, by day 2 it should smell like a strong, sweet white wine, with a hint of eggy smell from the sulphur.

If your mead is taking a month to not smell like honey, you're doing something very wrong... You're using nutrients right? Or at least adding brewing sugar, honey mead doesn't have the nutrients required alone really, you need to add them, or dump some brewing sugar in with it.

What do you flavor your mead with? If you've been doing this for 20 years than why are you fermenting it in plastic? Do you know when the best time to flavor your mead is? I don't know, it's not even my mead, I'm not OP, I just said it was honey mead, and yes, I have been making it for 20 years, sometimes I make Melomel, usually Piments, I test the alcohol with my hydrometer, going on the OG reading and finishing gravity. I'll usually pitch the yeast in a plastic fermenting bucket (new one, no damage, doesn't fuck with the flavor) - It will always smell like alcohol the day after the airlock starts bubbling, don't know what you're doing wrong. I'll usually ferment it in the primary for 3 weeks, not opening it to add nutrients as the yeast I buy has them added in already (super compound) - I'll add sone finnings,then when that's done, I'll take it off the must and have it in a glass carboy secondary for 3 or 4 months, then I'll bottle it, and leave it in the bottles for at least a year before I try one. Don't try and act like you know shit, because from what you've said, you clearly don't

I'm going to come clean. I actually DID fill a 5 gallon bucket with piss over the course of about 2 months. This was when I was depressed and unemployed, and sometimes I was afraid to leave my room in fear of being forced to go look for a job.
