My toilet is having issues with the flush mechanism. It's one of those crappy things with the two buttons atop the tank, one for a light flush and another for a heavy. I've lifted the lid and it looks like a simple lever mechanism on the end of the buttons attatched to a metal wire, which is rather slack.

I've lifted the physical mechanism to empty the tank and it all works well enough, granted it isn't resetting automatically as the tank fills, though that could be down to me lifting it too high.
