Well people are asking if the US is still a democracy and people are saying "no, it's a republic" which makes zero sense as a response, implying they're somehow mutually incompatible. So I must assume some people (specifically in the US) when they hear "democracy" are incorrectly thinking of direct democracy and not just democracy in general.

I said campaign. The point is, trump fired three people looking into this stuff. He fired Comey right after grand jury subpoenas were delivered to flynn associates, and as they were asking for more resources. Only 7 staffers have been working on this crap because republicans are such hacks, they had 46 working on benghazi... How you still stand by these clowns is beyond me
