My grandfather was a frogman in WWII. He went through a lot of experimental training, which later became standard Navy Seal training, hell week and stuff like that. He only ever watched war documentaries until the day he died. But even after the war, that motherfucker didn't go to the VA one time, he was a tough son of a bitch. Taught me so much about life. His one saying about the military rings profoundly in my head, "The war is over, I don't want anything from you, and you better not want anything from me, I'm done.", tough son of a bitch. I went to Ft Pierce Florida to the Navy Seal museum there after he died. I got to see his name on the gigantic wall, and got to meet some of his fellow Frogmen. That generation was one of the best this nation has ever had. They survived the Great Depression and survived a WW, most of them went on to craft the economy and build the present we live in now. I miss the good company from him.

Pre-ordered it and all the 3 DLCs to get access to closed beta and unlock 2 weapons from Day 1.

For shits I started playing the original two Brothers in Arms games. I'm doing missions in order of chronology on their timeline. The gameplay itself was more challenging than COD spray and play. The number of enemies were much smaller and more difficult to kill, which made it seem less cartoonish. The dialogue is questionable at times but damn did I forgot what a good story mode was supposed to look like.
