a dentist should x-ray it and if inflamed remove the root.

When you chew/bite on the tooth, does it hurt?

Does the tooth have any mobility, does it feel looser than the others?
Can you sleep at night? Does the tooth pain keep you up, or spontaneously wake you?
Why cant you shut your mouth down right? Is there a high filling or restoration?
I dont understand what you mean when you say, 'I had a tooth removed, that was filled so shitty'? If the tooth was removed, they did not 'fill' it per se, but, if they removed a portion of the tooth, and put a filling in it that is a different story.

Sounds like symptomatic irreversible pulpitis with symptomatic apical periodontitis...if so, tooth will need root canal or extraction...

I don't think you know how dental insurance works.

When you file a claim with dental insurance, depending on your plan, it can take anywhere from 6 months to 2 years for a lot of procedures before they'll let you actually have the procedure.

If you file a claim for a damaged filling, crown, or whatever else.. that will be in the claim and they'll know you already had dental work done so there's a high chance you'll be denied.

TLDR: Dental Insurance is a scam.
