right off the bat there is a drive by shooting in the neighboring town, and of course the plates from the offending vehicle come back to the town I work for, and in the beat I'm working. The majority of my night was spent looking for the shooter/ shooters vehicle, which made me even more high strung and tense. Ive finished up at my call and try to call my buddy, it goes straight to voicemail. So i go to where i told him to park, I get out of my car and ask him whats going on and he starts rambling about the dog dying (the dog was still fine.)
