He was in the Canadian reserve army and you had to pass a timed comprehension test similar to an IQ one. I had to think about those questions for the whole day and then I'd be like "oh, I get it now".

And I heard/read that the Legion tests are considered hard.

I'll still leave enough money to go try the test at Nogent or Aubagne, and if I fail I'll go homeless in Paris and commit suicide during the first winter if it's too cold.
